Ugh. So reading some manga. (Shojo if you care)
But anyway, I feel all floaty and in love right now. Just thought I would share. : )
Although, it is for no particular reason. But. >///<

You have the same feeling as being in love? Or you feel in love? Just curious..

You're right. I didn't make it very clear.
I can't explain.
I mean, if constantly I am in love, then was I feeling overly in-love?
No idea.

Don't know. I was just thinking about Megan a lot. Sometimes I get weird.
But now I'm on a down. What a crazy night. I think after I pull off this all-nighter, I'm going to catch a train home after calc (which ends at 1:45 - that's a little over twelve hours from now). But I have a creative paper due Thursday morning at 10:45, so even though I'm going home, I will just be there to watch Glee with my mom, take a very long nap, and write this paper.
Hm.
Sorry for the weirdness. Like I said, I get weird sometimes.

Well uh... hmm. I'm not the greatest fan of Manga... or any of that Japanese art stuff. Elfen Lied WAS good... but now that I look back... it's kinda sick. Anyway, Oh wait, that was an anime... oh wait... it was a Manga too! Oh wait... what?
Anyway, I only watched a few animes... Hellsing, that sick one up there, and uh... Samurai Champloo. Samurai Champloo was hilarious, even if it was nothing but fillers.
Uh... Manga... I started to read 'Samurai Deeper Kyo.' I got to like book 11... and I was browsing Chapters, and... I saw 'Samurai Deeper Kyo: Volume 67." And I was like? Da FAK? They want $700 from me to read the series? DA FAK?!!
Er... and then there was Rave Master, and then I was all pumped and wanted to buy the game, so I bought the game and they gave away the first ending... and it really sucked too because they compressed it down, because, you know, it's a game, they can't have all that text. That's what spoiled it.
Those were the main two I read... other than that, I'm not a big fan of Manga :p
(Smoothfully skips the floaty in love section by distracting everyone about Manga)
(Doesn't know what feeling all lovey is like, never experienced it)
(Felt serene, or 'holy', but, not all love like)

I don't read Manga. And I hardly ever watch Anime. Elfen Lied was badass. I'll agree to that. Serial Experiments Lain was neat too. And Death Note was pretty cool.. at least the beginning episodes. It eventually got slow.
About all that I've seen. D:

(I'll address your parenthetical points, IN PARENTHESES)
(Me either. First time. I'm eighteen years old. It's psyching me out. I feel fairly juvenile about it also. I probably am.)
(Sometimes I feel in-tune with the universe, perhaps this is comparable to your 'holy' feeling?)
Alright. So. I'll be honest. Not really into the whole, shonen stuff. That would be the Samurai stuff you've talked about. Also Hellsing kind of goes in that section.
But I did run the anime club, for three years at my high school, so I've developed certain tastes. So there we go.
When I first read that I was like, "$700?!?! That's seventy volumes!" Then I was like, wait, Canada v. America. Then it kind of made sense. However, the Samurai Deeper Kyo series is only 36 volumes long. And you're right, it does seem ridiculous. However, I firmly believe it's an addiction.
Besides, B-rad. You can screw the system. Just read the manga scans online if you still want to read that series.
RAVE MASTER = NO. Just for me. I guess. Pokemon was my deal. And later I added Digimon, but... Rave Master? Yeeg. Just typing the word makes me feel icky.

I found my VHS copy of it the other day. <3
Could you give a quick synopsis of Full Metal Alchemist? I'm not sure what it's even about and if I would enjoy it.

Wiki- The world of Fullmetal Alchemist is styled after the European Industrial Revolution. Set in a fictional universe in which alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques known to man, the story follows the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who want to restore their bodies after a disastrous failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy.
-
Honestly? Two brothers when they were younger lost their father, who just disappeared, and then a few years later their mother died, and they tried to bring her back using alchemy. Failed, ended up bringing a monster back, and the younger brother, Alphonse, lost his entire body, and Ed lost his arm and leg.
The series follows them trying to get their bodies back - which involves various alchemic principles - technical jargon, which is interesting in context-. And Ed ends up joining up with the military.

Through alchemy. It's kind of got some elements of steampunk in it.
Alphonse is a soul trapped in a giant suit of armor. And Ed's arm and leg are now metal... thus, full metal.
But the brother's just have this adorable relationship. Ed's just like, got a guardian complex, feels he needs to take care of his brother at any cost, kind of thing. I mean, they're basically all each other have. So it's an interesting dynamic. And a lot of the military alchemists are interesting characters.
Currently, Hulu has like the second season - or second cycle? - of the anime. Called Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. And it is supposed to follow the manga a hell of a lot more than the original anime series did.
But I think I will always have a soft spot for the first season. Also, it gets pretty creepy.
