I think the whole "put it in the fridge" s**t is probably the creepiest thing. I mean, seriously....inspiring people to do vampires is essentially like saying "Go forth young necrophiliacs!" They are dead people and all. confused

Really though, what girl wouldn't want a sparkling d***o?!? The cold, not so much - that sounds horribly unpleasant - but the sparkles, absolutely.
I do agree the Twilight fandom is getting a bit out of hand, but really, teens and young adults are the ones with the most money to spend on silly stuff, and they have no common sense to tell them not to. (Present company excepted, of course!) If I were going to create a product to make millions for me, that's who I'd market it to.
