Nestled on a hill on the outer rim of Kirigakure, this inn serves to aid foreign shinobi in having a place to stay. Because kirigakure is very mindful of who it lets within its walls in the first place, shinobi are usually allowed one night's stay for free for those just passing through.

Tsuki ran through the door, and slammed it shut, startling the clerk. "Oh what? Friends, crazy night, long story! Hey listen, if anyone is looking for me...tell them I'm on vacation mm'kay?" Without waiting for an answer, Tsuki dragged Chihiro and Freya upstairs. She wasn't fond of Chihiro yet, and didn't trust him at all, so she let Freya have her bed. Tsuki let Chihiro get the couch, and went about fixing herself up before sleeping for a day or three, since she was so tired. It then occurred to her, that there was still a kunai in her hand. She stared at it nervously for a moment, and then went over to the little counter in her kitchen, which was joined in with the dining room and the living room as well. Tsuki turned on the sink, and was about to submerge her hand, when it hit her that she actually did learn something from Dr. Smells-like-liquor. She smirked to herself as her hands were enveloped in green, and she performed the little washing ritual. Tsuki knew the next part would be to diagnose herself, and she looked down at her palm. "Oh gee, I wonder what the issue is." Extraction time now. She moved the non punctured hand over to the other, and tried her best to take it out via chakra. She hit the muscles a few times, making her cringe in pain. By now, she looked like crap, that had been hit by a truck. "Ya know...who knew blood loss could be so much fun!" she said that as she looked at her hand, which she was seeing three of. "Huh, how did I do that?" Luckily she had been sitting down, and had just enough time to take off her jacket, and use the sleeve as a bandage for her hand. Other than that, she just passed out right there.
"Just reach out and grab your dreams. If not, who will?"

Tsuki awoke first, and yawned, stretching out her body as she lifted her head off of the table. Apparently, she passed out, and the side of her head that had been on the counter had the designs impressed upon her skull. As well, she had red splotches all over her face. She was about to grab something to eat, when she remembered this was not her house. Tsuki smirked, and looked down at her hand, to see the hole that was there mostly closed, save for a thin opening. "Aya! That didn't feel good" She stood up, and left the building, heading back to her house.

Matsuya sat on the bed he'd been given a week ago after his and Luo's little talk. It was set, he was Kirigakure's secret sannin. He was also going into the career of information brokering. His silver tongue and hair had been useful in the past. Now he'd made a career of it. Matsuya sighed as he shifted his shoulder, which was now covered in bandages. His whole body was covered in the damn things. Luo had pulled a trick out of his bag and won the match with flying colors.
Matsuya looked around his small room hidden in the back of the inn. Despite its size, it served its purpose. He had a small desk, a bed, and a bathroom adjoined to the room. This was luxury compared to the years when he'd been away. He fiddled with a small scroll he'd been carrying with him since the chunnin exams he dissapeared from in his right hand. The scroll containing that ever important jutsu to his trade. He sighed and laid gingerly back on the bed. An apple was held in his left hand. Matsuya's thoughts revolved around his plans for his future. He knew Sev was in the village and that also bothered him. Matsuya had cursed that boy on that fateful night when he sealed the Kyuubi in Sev. He just hoped Sev was dealing with it in a way that wouldn't hurt anyone. He also thought of who he'd be taking on as his apprentice. Luo had allowed him to find one and choose, but Matsuya had been recovering for the past week and hadn't found the time. He gave out another sigh and took another bite of the apple. He'd have to get up eventually, but that time wasn't now.

Matsuya bit into the apple he held and slid the scroll into his robes, which was hanging on the edge of his bed. He'd probably learn that later. The Secret Information Cards technique was useful, but Matsuya still prefered to take notes down by hand and then hide them on his person. He was old-school, that's all. He sat up and sighed. He'd have to go to the tower eventually to check in. His old motto of "now better than never" kicked in as he stood and stretched his still sore muscles. He picked up his robe and slung his left shoulder through it. The right arm was left out of the robe, providing him with a better range of motion. He patted the front of it, making sure his journal was secure in one of the pockets. He grunted a bit as he hit his sore abdomen and then tucked the right half of his robe into his belt, still letting the left side appear formal by letting it hang down.
Matsuya patted his hip, making sure his old companion Kage Kira was there and then walked out of the room. He locked it behind him and smirked at the brilliance of it all. No one would expect a sannin to be living in an inn that saw little more than foreign shinobi. Matsuya ran a hand through his hair and stopped when he felt the bead braided into his bangs. A smirk came to his face and he walked out of the inn, nodding to the innkeeper as he left. All this time in Kirigakure and he'd almost forgotten his purpose of coming back. But she would have to wait, the tower awaited him. He whistled a happy tune as he walked towards the tower, that small grin still lingering on the edges of his mouth.

Matsuya walked into the compound that was home to Kirigakure's inn. He chuckled a bit as he noticed that the innkeeper was sleeping at his desk in the front of the inn building. Matsuya kept walking through the inn until he came to a door at the very back of the inn. This was the small room he'd been allowed to use when he needed a place to sleep or work. He was truly grateful to the old man who sat sleeping at the main desk. Matsuya opened the door to his room and immediately closed it again once he was inside. It wasn't a good idea to let anyone other than the innkeeper or people he truly trusted know that he slept here. That could compromise everything Matsuya had attempted to keep a well-kept secret.
Matsuya sat on the small, straw bed that had come with the room. In truth, the only thing Matsuya himself had bought for this room was the desk that stood in one corner. That desk held a good number of his secrets. And he would have to take those secrets with him or at least hide them better while he was gone.

Matsuya ran his right hand slowly through the mess of silver curls on his head. He was wracking his mind for a solution of a place to hide the documents that he'd kept hidden in his desk. Then a thought occurred to him. Where in Kirigakure was safer than underneath the nose of the Mizukage. He stood and laughed at himself. How could he not have thought of it sooner? He'd hide the documents with Luo, the most well guarded and powerful person in the village. He trusted Luo with his life, so these notes would be in good hands. Matsuya sat at the desk and took a pen from a drawer to the side of it. He would make something that a potential thief thought was important information. Then, they would take the false information to whomever had contracted them to steal from them. Matsuya smiled. He seemed so paranoid, even in his mind. But this was simply an insurance policy in his mind. He would not take the risk of the small amount of intelligence falling into unwelcome hands. He'd done the same thing when the Kyuubi had attacked Konoha. But, then, he had buried his important files inside of an empty grave.
An hour or so later, Matsuya had written a fairly complex, but entirely false, report on the weaknesses of the trade route between Konohagakure and Iwagakure. This was, of course, rendered useless by the fact that Iwagakure had collapsed. But, perhaps, the thief would assume that Matsuya was a terribly informed information broker who had no idea what he was doing. The person would merely assume Matsuya had an interest in the stability of trade routes. He smiled happily to himself as he placed the file in a drawer and began retrieving all of his real information. A large file worth was sitting in various places in the desk. He had always lacked organization when it came to paperwork. Finally, having compiled everything into a folder, he stood and pushed in his chair. He gathered a few things from around the room. Articles of clothing, stray books, some apples he'd neglected to eat, and some pencils. Matsuya packed all of these things into a backpack, which he then threw over one shoulder. He walked out of the room, locking it behind him. He was going to go and inform Luo that he was departing to Konoha and to give him the files. So, he headed towards the Mizukage Tower, where, he assumed, Luo would be caught up in his duties.

Matsuya yawned a little as he neared the Inn. It had been a while since he'd actually slept. For someone who usually took naps whenever he got the chance, that was something of a rarity. He walked into the Inn building and nodded casually at the owner at his desk. "Just so you know, I'll be moving out of my room in the back. I suppose that should help you gather more business." Matsuya's smile was returned by the man's own. Matsuya walked down the hall towards his small room in the back of the Inn. When he'd arranged for it, he'd known it was only temporary. But, he had to admit, he'd grown somewhat attached to the place. It was cozy, quiet, and served his purposes. He nudged open the door and entered. He closed the door again and began gathering his possessions.
Matsuya glanced at the desk he'd situated in the corner of the room. He frowned and thought for a moment. That desk was the first thing he'd purchased upon his return to Kirigakure. He'd like to have that desk again in his apartment since he doubted it had one. His head was ran with options. And, just then, his answer knocked at his door. Matsuya opened it and saw an ANBU member standing there, holding the keys to the shop. Matsuya smiled and took them. "Thanks. Can I ask a favor, please?" The man remained silent and merely nodded. Matsuya nodded in confirmation. "Okay. Can you maybe find someone to move this desk to my shop? It doesn't have to be right away. Just sometime soon would be nice." The ANBU nodded again and walked off. Matsuya laughed quietly to himself and closed the door. He muttered quietly to himself, "I'll never get over those guys. How can someone live without emotion? It makes us people."
After a few minutes, Matsuya had gathered the majority of his belongings in a cardboard box he'd had in the corner. The box had at one point contained a number of apples he'd bought from a traveling salesman. But now it was an apple scented moving box. Luckily, Matsuya didn't own too much. Just assorted books, clothes, and writing materials. He'd been traveling so long that he'd adjusted to living out of his knapsack. But now he was settling down. He still wasn't sure how he felt about that.
Matsuya picked up the box and made his way out of the room. He reached the front desk and put the box at his feet. He rummaged around in his robes, looking for a few coins to pay his rent. He finally found them and handed them to the man. "I thank you for having me. I hope your business prospers and you live comfortably." Matsuya picked the box and turned from the smiling man. He turned his head, a wide grin filling his face. "Oh! And if any tired travelers ask where to get scrolls, send them my way! I'll have a new scroll shop up and running in a few days." Matsuya threw his head back in laughter and walked out of the Inn. He made his way to the area of the market. He just needed to drop the box off and then he'd be off to visit Her.
