The kiri park is a rather large park located in the back half of the village, It is more like a small forest than a local park and it has many winding paths and a medium sized river that runs through the center. It is often filled with a thick fog like mist during the night that never seems to dissipate into the air until the next day, making the forest very easy to find one's self lost in very quickly if they do not stick to the paths during the evening hours. During the day it changes completely, becoming a peaceful place for the villagers of kiri to play and become social at. In the center of the forest is a clearing with a small park for children to play at, as well as a large open field for training if one wishes to. All kiri shinobi are advised to stick to the paths as small bandit groups have been reported in the area of the forest.

Kai tried to pick up the pace in the park, sure that Yamatano wouldn't be far behind him. He made his way along the path leading to the ramen shop, dodging the other villagers that were walking calmly along, startling several of them. Kai ran along the edge of the fountain in the middle of the park, trying to save himself a little more time, but after nearly losing his balance he jumped back to the ground, better to get it done a little slower than fail the test completely. He finally made his way across the bridge that would lead him to the marketplace and ultimately Nikko's, his breathing was a bit more labored, but he wasn't too worried yet about completing his training.

Kai made his way through the park much as he had earlier, this time moving much more carefully through the crowds, making sure not to spill any of the ramen broth, being careful to not even tilt the bowl. His chakra flowed through his arms steadying them and strengthening them, but his legs were becoming increasingly more tired, each step harder than the last. But despite his weariness he couldn't give up, not now, not after he'd come this far. He pushed forward, willing his legs to move, forcing them to move through sheer willpower.

Yamatano was getting really, really tired. Even with his natural Hatake speed, Kaizen was still ahead of him. "Dang, I gotta pick it up, or I'm gonna have to pay for his ramen! Again!" he thought to himself. He kept weaving in between the crowds of people, most of them giving him quizzical looks, but any shinobi he passed just chuckled and let him pass, knowing he was going through his training.

Yamatano was wiped out at this point. His muscles ached, his joints popped, and he wasnt allowed to eat the delicious treat in front of him. He groaned, wondering, not for the first time, if maybe 75 pounds was a liiiitle much. He just shrugged and tried to conserve his energy.

Kanzuki continued with his light jogging pace as he made his way through the park, as he was doing this he was doing what his father taught him, he was oberserving his enviroment. As he made his way through the park he noticed a small dirt path that no one was useing. He figured this would be his best way to return, as to help avoid any spilling of the ramen. All the way he felt his energy being depleated, as the weights began to feel heavyer.

Kanzuki contiuned to jog as he spotted the path he saw eariler. He quickly set out on the path as he jogged through the realtivly unused path. However, the chakra in his legs was beginning to give out as he felt the searing pain return to his body. With a pained groan Kanzuki was forced to slow his jog down as the weights were beginning to take a toll on his body. He managed to reach the end of the path quickly and took off towards the beach as he checked the ramen to make sure nothing had happened, it still seemed ok to him.

[enter from training facility]
Kai ran into the park at a dead sprint, but when he saw the rest of the village he stopped short, his jaw dropping in shock. How could this happen? What's going on!?, Kai thought to himself. Looking back at the receptionist he saw that she was just as shocked as he was. He looked back at the training facility and thought to himself, I hope everyone else is alright.

Kanzuki noticed that the lightning seemed to had stopped and thus took the risk of tree hopping to move through the park faster, thats when he caught up with Kai,"KAI!!" Kanzuki called out to his friend, hopeing to be heard in the chaos.

[enter from training facility]
Yamatano ran far from the training facility, not caring where he went as long as it was away from the lightning. But as he looked around he saw the facility wasnt the only thing that had been hit. The market was flooded, the gates were being torn up by a tornado, The Mizukage's tower was on fire, and his precious ramen stand had been swallowed into the earth. Holding back a tear, he continued running until he spotted Kanzuki and Kaizen. "You Guys!" He yelled, trying to get their attention

Kai was able to make out the sound of someone calling his name as he looked toward the training facility. Looking up he saw Kanzuki jumping from tree to tree, and he could see Yamatano running from the direction of the . "KANZO!!! YAMATANO!!!", Kai cried out, relieved that his friends were alright. Once Kanzuki and Yamatano were closer Kai asked concernedly, "Are you guys alright? Where's everyone else? What the hell is going on!?" As Kai was asking this he heard a roar from the direction of the academy. Turning around he saw an enormous beast, its five tails waving around its body. "What in the world is that monster?!"

Yamatano caught up to Kaizen, standing next to him. He looked in the direction of the roar and saw a giant wolf with five tails destroying the academy. Yamatano had studied history somewhat, so he knew what it was. "Kaizen..." he said rather softly, his eyes full of fear, "...thats a tailed beast."

Kai watched in horror as the tailed beast destroyed the school. He threw a hand up, reaching for the academy as if he could stop the destruction that had already happened. Turning to his friends he said in a desperate voice, "we have to go and save anyone that survived that, it's our duty as shinobi of the mist!"

Kanzuki grabs ahold of Kai and shakes him around abit," What can he hope to do! The Acadamy is in ruins and that beast is still way to close for us to do anything about it! We need to find some higher ranking nin and see what we can do to help, its the logical thing to do!" Kanzuki yells over all the chaos, hoping that he had talked some sense into Kai, the people in the Acadamy would just have to wait, preservation of the rest of the village had to take priority.

"Yes, we should. But lets not be hasty. I have a plan." Yamatano began to form some handseals, while molding sufficient chakra in his body. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" he cried as there was a puff of smoke and two more Yamatanos. "Lets use clones to draw the Beast's fire, and then we can go save some people." Meanwhile the clones shifted uneasily, not liking the plan of being bait, but hey, they were clones. They didnt have much of a choice.
