On gaia they usually have there little get togethers like "Demon Busters" or "Promigedin"... But wouldn't be cool If when the Last Airbender movie premieres, That they have a roleplaying game just like demon busters or something like that!!!

crystal_raye I honestly expect Gaia to have some sort of Avatar sponsorship when the movie debuts. that's probably what they would do, but even that would be awesome! like they could give out aang's staff after seeing the trailer they have!

It's certainly a plausible idea, though. I mean, think: ATLA is WAY popular (even after it ended, and you know it!), its an anime/animated show turned live-action movie; I don't see why not! biggrin

@slyguy: M. Night Shyamalan is making an ATLA movie called "The Last Airbender". It will be live action and it comes out in July of 2010. The movie will go up through the first season and end at the first season finale.

M. Night Shyamalan went to the creators of Avatar and asked if he could make the live action movie. They obliged. What else would it be about? It's about Book 1 (at least) of the series.
Shitty director choice, shitty actor choices, and it'll probably be a shitty adaption all around. I'm willing to bet that he somehow manages to ruin the story.

I don't think they had shitty actor choices at all. :s I think that they couldn't have chosen anyone better for Aang, and I think that the guy who plays Zuko was a pretty good choice. I think the girl who plays Katara is gorgeous, and honestly, I don't give a damn that they're not tan. xd
