Ok, I know some don't consider Bioshock to be steampunk, but I'm sure many of us share of a love of vintage diving gear, so, take a little gander at this work of art.

我就是你们女生最讨厌的那种人I'm the kind of guy you girls hate most.
I came.
Seriously, that's amazing. It's even more amazing that the drill wooooorks.
I hope you have fun erasing my post style, though. John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway. John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships daddy." Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS" There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons. "This is Joson" the radio crackered. "You must fight the demons!" So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall. "HE GOING TO KILL US" said the demons "I will shoot at him" said the cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill. "No! I must kill the demons" he shouted The radio said "No, John. You are the demons" And then John was a zombie. 对了就是那个臭男孩 That's right, that jerk.

I did have an idea of using a a butchered rechargeable electric weed whacker for a drill motor, but his butchering an old yard sale drill was a much better idea

Drills are much lighter than weed-whackers, though they can still be heavy depending on what is attached (assuming the battery is disconnected like the gentlemen within the link did).
The suit is absolutely beautiful. I thought it was a statue until the picture of him wearing a fraction of it in the front yard appeared.

WOW! Thanks for sharing the link. That's got to be one of the best costumes I've ever seen. And the fact he documented the construction so well makes for a good read.

I could have sworn I replied to this, but this is a fantastic example of artistic techniques that have a wide range of applications. Capitol find!

He was actually a really cool dude to talk to.
I personally told him he did an amazing job and asked him a few questions. If you read his blog, he's said the same stuff, but the costume was very heavy, and people loved him C:
It was a very well executed costume C:

I'm of the opinion he should have a recording of the Big Daddy wail to play every so often, cause that's the first thing I think of when I see Big Daddies.
Then you get to see all the squirrelly gamers jump when they hear it and you know who actually thought the game was scary. lol
Seriously there's people who think that... :/
