This small hut was home to Ranmaru. Ranmaru never knew his parents, and depended upon the kindness of the local villagers to bring him food. When Ranmaru used his powers and saw a villager injure himself, he later asked the villager if he was okay. This frightened the villager who had no idea how Ranmaru could have seen the accident from his hut. Unfortunately the villagers realized Ranmaru had a bloodline ability and turned against him. Hidden Mist ninja later came to investigate his spying.

(Enter from small village)

Yamatano walked into the fifth hut in the village, but this one was different. There were no gore stains, no scratches on the walls, nothing. It seemed strange to yamatano that this house was spared, as he had already come to the conclusion that something terrible had wiped out the village. Deciding that he would report this to lord Mizukage later, Yamatano left the house and the village, travelling further into the expanses of Water country.

Luo1304
Shinobi of Kiri!

There is a great threat that is upon us! Upon recent discovery, scientists and med-nin banned from villages and considered rogue have taken residency in our countryside. Upon further inspection, the ANBU has discovered that there is a great illness upon us that they have inflected in an attempt to create immortality. A Zombie apocolypse is upon us unless we take up arms against them! We have here photographic evidence of their appearance in our countryside, and their fast approach on our gates. We have included in this message a description of each mutation, each more disturbing than the last:

User Image

Normal Zombie Mutation: Nothing except the grizzly appearance of these zombies are out of the ordinary. Their speed is relative to the person who was experimented on, meaning they run from being quite slow, to track-like speed. Be cautious of their bite, as it has been shown to cause paralysis and inflict an unknown venom that we are currently creating an antidote for.

Slug Zombie: This mutation in itself is rather odd. Despite the person's background, every zombie of this type is unusually slow to movement. However, they have been described as being capable of spitting a corrosive acid up to twenty feet in front of them and of a radius of ten feet. This acid burns through flesh straight to the bone, and although they seem uninterested in biting, they are to be dispatched with caution.

Demon Zombie: These zombies are the worst of all three. Their faces appear as Japanese Tengu, and from their bones have sprouted claw-like protrusions from their knuckles. These zombies are incredibly fast, needing at least three genin to tackle, and of special jounin strength. They have been seen to be capable of tossing people twenty feet, as well as rushing people in order to slash through skin. These claw-like protrusions leak a corrosive acid as well, tearing through both flesh and bone quite easily, however metal seems to be a slower process. We ask that EVERYONE exercise EXTREME caution while approaching one of these.

In the village, there are currently five of the first two, and two of the demon zombies. Everyday their numbers double, meaning by this time tomorrow, there will be instead of a total of twelve zombies, a total of twenty-four if some are not dispatched. We ask that ALL genin meet at Kiri lake and form quick dispatch squads and get to the task immediately. We fear they may breach our gates by tomorrows time.

Good Luck My Shinobi, and I Shall See You on the Battlefield,

~Yondaime Mizukage- Luo Ushio

((This mini-arc is rather simple: Kill zombies! Now because of timing, I ask that the zombies simply be portrayed by each RPC. Note their characteristics, and RP them accordingly. The person with the highest zombie kill count by Midnight E.S.T on December 18th gets 5,000 gold, simple as that! This, is Kiri's Current event.))

Ghaniri laughed heinously as he sat inside the hut of a family that he just brutally murdered without much effort. Blood dripped from his nails like a leaking faucet as he lifted up his fingertip and gave it a lick. He savored the sweat taste in his mouth. Thinking back to how he barged into the hut, and ripped the pathetic humans to shreds gave him a warm tingling feeling inside. He was happy with what he had done, even though he wasn't satisfied with the meal. These humans had low chakra, they barely put up much of a fight. Though the humans that he sensed a ways off seem perfect for a quick dinner. Ghaniri was just waiting for the effects of his little spell to wear off so that he could attack them while they are tired. Sadly enough, he was getting sick of waiting and wanted an interesting hunting story that he could tell his friends at the hive. Raising his blood drenched head to his temple he picked out one of the ninja. He had a high chakra level, and there was something dark, almost demonic within it. Using his higher mind it was easy for him to manipulate some sound waves so that only he would hear, even if they were a long distance apart.
"Hello there little human. Want to know a secret? If you continue to fight. You and your friends will die. Pathetically actually. But I'll give you a chance to save everyone. If you can find my demon aura in one of these small huts by yourself. I'll give you a chance to save everyone." Ghaniri smiled as he knew that the human would come running towards him like an idiot. He snickered as he relaxed and waited for his meal to arrive.

(btw, in case you didn't read the post I made in the small village, when the demon spoke in Kaizen's mind, Houkou wasn't to happy about it, and sent a message of his own back)

Lifting the curtain which acted as a door, Kaizen stepped carefully into small hut, his grip still tight around his blade. As his eyes took a moment to adjust to the darkness of the room, Kaizen could smell a fetid stench wafting through the air, the stink of death. As he looked around, and his stark-white eyes adjusted to the light, Kaizen's eyes widened at what he saw. Blood covered the walls, from small spatters, to streaks where someone had been thrown against the wall only to slide down once more. Littered across the ground lay bones, and even chunks of flesh, still moist and glistening in the pale moonlight which streaked in from the small tears in the curtain behind Kaizen.

But despite these gruesome sights, they were nothing compared to the vile being which stood before Kaizen. Mouth twisted into a sorry perversion of a smile, it's blood-stained teeth sharpened to fine points, it was all Kaizen could do to keep from retching. The being stood taller than Kaizen, much taller in fact, almost having to stoop within the small confines of the hut, with arms and legs which seemed disproportionately long. But its eyes, like two bottomless pools of darkness longing to drag Kaizen within their depths, its eyes were the worst.

Though every muscle in Kaizen's body begged to flee from this abomination, he stood resolute, his face an expressionless mask, even as his own stark-white eyes burned with rage at the sight of this beast.
"What are you, and why have you come here?", Kaizen asked, his voice as empty as the expression he wore.

"Dreams... what are they but a crutch for those too afraid to forge their own path?"

The stench of human filled Ghaniri's nostrils as Kaizen entered the hut. The sight was amusing to the demon. The horror that was on his face and the fear that was deep seeded into his aura made it all the more entertaining for the sick monster. Ghaniri stood with a bit of a hunch so that he wouldn't bump into the roof of this man made crap house that the humans who use to live here called home. The demon blinked as he looked the frightened ninja up and down slowly with his all black eyes. There were no whites in them, there wasn't any light, only darkness. Ghaniri began walking closer and closer to Kaizen as he knelled down in front of him so that they were face to face. Ghaniri's wings fluttered a bit, as it was obvious that he was getting agitated by being in such a small area, but at the same time he loved it. There wasn't much room for Kaizen to flee.

After a closer analysis, he could feel something else within Kaizen's aura. It was more then just energy, if was something inside him, living and breathing. It reminded him of...no. It couldn't be. "Well human...I am the reason for all of those zombies out of there. I am the one who called you. I am what your pathetic race calls, 'Abominations'. Though I suppose that wouldn't ring much of a bell to you would it? Now. Enough of your questions. You will answer mine. What do you have inside of you human?"

As the demon knelt in front of him, it was all Kaizen could do not to retch as the acrid stench of death and horror emanated from the beasts mouth. Kaizen refused to avert his stark white gaze from the dead black glare of the monster in front of him, refused to let his face show fear. At the demon's question, Kaizen sneered, as the image of Houkou's gaping maw flashed in front of his eyes, "that is no concern of yours beast, besides, you won't live long enough for it to matter." Even as the words left his mouth, Kaizen's eyes shifted from their stark white to a deep earthy brown. Lashing out with his blades, Kaizen struck out once, twice, then a third time before spinning out to the side under the wing of the great beast as he cried out, "Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu!"

As he spoke the words, Kaizen sunk into the ground and then immediately began moving through the earth beneath the beasts feet, before popping up behind it. Lashing out with both swords, Kaizen attempted to slash at the beasts back, his blades forming an X as they passed through the air to lay the beast low.

Ghaniri could only laugh at the humans attempt to slay him. Keeping his eyes focused on the blades, he made slight but precise movements to move out of the way of the strikes. He almost dodged them all, but with his last strike, Kaizen was able to slightly cut the demons left cheek. The attacks blatantly seemed like nothing more then a diversion for a bigger attack. Ghaniri have been fighting humans for decades, but this was Kaizen's first encounter with his kind, yet he had that certain cockiness that each member of his race seemed to have. When the human went into
the ground it didn't come as a shock to him. Mainly because it was a simple trick that many humans that he killed knew how to do, also that power inside of him made is all the more easier to track him.

Placing both of his hands on the ground, he slightly lifted his right leg, waiting for Kaizen to pop up. The moment he did, Ghaniri kicked with tremendous force. The kick wouldn't kill him but it would definitely leave him injured if connected. He aimed a bit below his swords, knowing that his legs were longer then the swords. Ghaniri smiled. The human had no place to flee. It would only be seconds before his foot made contact, and if he had earth powers, being in the air like that would only be a disadvantage to him. "You will tell me what I want to know human!"

As Kaizen rose out of the ground he was surprised to see the demon facing him, but he was not surprised when the beasts leg came up to kick him. As he slashed down at the beast and its leg came up to meet Kaizen, Kaizen did not even attempt to dodge the technique, instead choosing to take the opportunity to slash at the beasts now exposed leg. Perhaps he should have dodge. As the abominations leg connected with Kaizen's gut, Kaizen could feel as his breath rushed out of him, before he was sent flying to slam into the wall of the hut. Sliding down the wall in a heap, Kaizen gasped to try and fill his lungs with precious oxygen. Meanwhile a voice echoed within his mind, let me loose, boy, I wish to sink my teeth into this filth's flesh!

"NO!", Kaizen cried out at the voice, though to the demon it would seem like he was resisting telling the beast what it was locked deep within him. Looking up at the abomination, Kaizen's eyes shifted to a silvery blue color as he lifted his hands up to his chest and flashed through several hand-seals. "Raikou Henge no Jutsu!", Kaizen cried out before his whole body began to shine with a brilliant sliver blue light. Suddenly, a bolt of electricity arced off of Kaizen towards the beast, leaving nothing but empty air where the young man had been sitting before.

As the lightning would pass through the beast, Kaizen would appear on the other side, kneeling with his swords in hand, his vision blurred. With any luck the beast would be dead, or at least stunned long enough for Kaizen to finish the job.

((Ahh well technically I didn't turn around and kicked you, I sort of just mule kicked you. I thought it would be GM for me to just turn completely around with a large demon like that. But I'm not opposed to just going with what you said if you want. Oh and if you want, instead of just slamming into the wall you could just be knocked out of the hut since I assume it's made of straw and you'd be heavy enough to break it down. But yeah, your choice really.))

EDIT: Though it might be a good idea to change because that technique, although, it sounds cool, leaves you dizzy, confused, and nauseous which is hardly worth it since it would only do D rank damage and leave you very open for attack against the demon especially since you're kneeling. Also when you say 'pass through' does that mean you ripped through me or passed like a current and shocking me?

(Well, if you don't mind then I'm more than happy to leave my post as is, and yeah I know the technique leaves me open, I'm hoping that while it will probably only piss the demon off, it won't make him mad enough to kill me just yet, if Houkou gets a chance to come out it won't be in Kaizen's current state, he needs to be battered a bit more)

Ghaniri

Ghaniri's body was shocked a bit as he grunted. He hated the light, and having that damned bright beam did nothing but piss him off. It was time to just tear the human to shreds, ******** whatever was inside of him. He would just eat that massive entity too. He clinched his fists as he sensed the human behind him once more. Had the human not learned his lesson from the first time. Sneaking up behind him would not work, not in the slightest. Ghaniri roared viciously in a glass-shattering tune as he let his wings fully expand and allowed a bit of energy to pushed out of his body. The force wouldn't push Kaizen much at all but it would shatter and destroy the hut.

The air around the two thickened as more and more dark energy began to come from within the demon's body. It wasn't chakra. It was something much more pure, powerful, and sinister. Now able to move a bit more freely, Ghaniri turned as he extended his arm and let his palm open widely. The dark matter began to form around the center of his hand as the hues of black and indigo clouds mended together into the shape of a sphere. Dark blue static wrapped around this amazing energy as it began to grow until it reached the size of an average basketball. "Dark Art: Oblivion Sphere."

Ghaniri was standing about seven to eight feet away from the ninja as the ball of energy released. It was coming fast, probably about 45 mph as it was aimed at Kaizen's gut. The energy was raw and unstable and would explode on impact. The power behind it was definitely something fierce and deadly. As soon as Ghaniri released the sphere he flapped his wings so that he would be airborne. He did this for two reasons. One was so that if he dodged he could swoop down and bite his head off. Two was that Kaizen would be a little confused about his location should he survive.

Still kneeling, Kaizen's breathing was heavy, his head spinning as he tried rise to his feet once more, he could barely see anything, but something felt... wrong. He couldn't put a word to it, but it was as if the air around him was becoming thicker, fouler. Looking over his shoulder, Kaizen could just barely make out the blurred shape of the monster as it stood, palm outstretched, holding... something. Kaizen couldn't tell what it was, but he knew it couldn't be good. Looking down, Kaizen closed his eyes and poured chakra into Oni Koutai, causing electrcity to race along the length of the blade.

As the words left the demon's mouth, Kaizen rolled to the side, his silvery-blue eyes aflame, as he poured yet more chakra into his blade. Electricity arced off of the blade with a vicious sound of cracking thunder, meeting the demon's attack half-way between the two, the demon just becoming airborne. As the two attacks collided the ensuing explosion sent Kaizen flying backwards, skipping across the ground several times before managing to right himself at last. Breathing heavily, blood dripping from dozens of small cuts, Kaizen stood unsteadily as he eyed the beast warily, electricity still flowing freely around his blade.

The human lived. Blood dripped from all over his body as the sweet scent filled Ghaniri's nostrils. He looked down like a predator as he watched his slightly injured prey. Two more spheres formed in the demons hand as he looked down at Kaizen with a look of pure malice. "Dark Arts: Extermination Stage 1" The two spheres in Ghaniri's hands grew larger in size as the demon lifted his hands up higher in the sky. The spheres seemed to becoming unstable as they self-imploded and transformed into many little spheres with high power. Spinning around Ghaniri, they began to get slightly larger so that they were all the size of the sphere that Ghaniri used last. There was about twenty in total and as soon as the demon lowered his arms, they all came down like rainfall in Kaizen's direction. However, instead of waiting for impact, each of them exploded like mines.
