A forest where Nera loved in the world of the living was where she chose to create chaos and battles. A small forest in the real world with multiple trees sprouted upward and had sprouted their branches outward into each other creating an overshadow of branches that hid the world around them and the light. A small opening revealed where at noon the sun peered through making shadows on the ground, while at the night the moon revealed moonlight making the perfect area.

Aislinn hadn't been to the human world for several decades. Time flowed differently in Soul Society and, though she had been a more recent death, time in the mortal world had already slipped past all too quickly. Still, the world didn't seem to have changed as drastically as Ash would have expected. The jeans were getting skinnier, the skirts skimpier, haircuts shorter. And still much of the world was familiar.

Although she'd grown up in a city, she had a natural aversion to these big, sprawling communities. She opted for the woodlands that girded so many small towns like Karakura. It was in one of these small forests that she walked now, not really paying attention to her surroundings, but simply wandering and thinking idle thoughts.

The sky sung as the sound of a garganta opened and revealed to the world a young girl, the sight of this forest was truly her home, and her grave as she jumped from the sky and glided down as if an umbrella guided her to the top of a tree. The sky was dark, yet bright as the sun was setting and she smiled as she back-flipped off the tree and descended down looking below as she was still upside-down.

She was above the person now as she walked on the sky and looked above her at the girl who was wandering around the forest. "Welcome to the forest of wolves." Nera said with a fang-like smile.

(Oh no! It's a Noah! XD)

Aislinn looked up, masking surprise behind a crooked smile. There was a young girl hovering directly above her where Ash was sure there had been no such woman a minute ago. Of course, she had heard the unnatural sound of tearing fabric. Although she was not one to rashly jump to conclusions, it seemed that the sound had heralded this girl's appearance. That, in itself, was ominous. To lend credence to Ash's instinctual aversion to the umbrella-girl, she was giving off an odd spiritual pressure that didn't feel like any shinigami Ash had ever met.

"Forest of the wolves, y' say?" She repeated, working to keep her expression calm. She had a growing suspicion as to this girl's nature, but she wasn't exactly sure. "Sure, and it's a fair coincidence. What bring you out here, then?"

(Yup! XP)

The girl was beginning to smile a deadly smile that would give off the feeling of darkness and oddity as she wasn't an ordinary little girl. "Well, call it homesickness.." Nera said calmly in a happy tone as she looked to her right and saw a burial stone that held a name she had remember a while ago. A question came out once more in a calm, yet cheerful tone ,"What brings you to my neck of the woods then?" Nera was wondering why this girl would be out here, all alone without anyone around her.

Walking forward a bit, she fell from her position above the girl who was releasing a strange reiatsu as she knew it wasn't a dark feeling. The girl held out her long sleeves which had a number of belts surrounding them that extended out making her arms produce strange tails of belts.

Aislinn followed the girl's gaze and caught sight of the tombstone, half hidden among the shadows of a tall tree. Quite suddenly, the small forest seemed much less inviting. She wouldn't describe the feeling that crawled up her spine as a chill, per se, but it had a foreboding undercurrent. The feeling of discomfort registered only in Ash's eyes as she glanced back at the girl, seeing the odd smile that played on her lips.

"They're your woods, are they?" She asked, resisting the urge to put release herself from her gigai. She could feel the soul candy digging into the hip pocket of her jeans, but the only move she made was to hook a thumb into her belt look, slipping her fingertips inside the pocket in a casual gesture. If this girl was what Ash took her to be, she wanted the element of surprise on her side. "Guess I'm just out for a walk,"

The girl smiled and simply said a few things as Aislinn wasn't as obvious to her as she knew many things. "You think you are smart, hiding in a gigai.... But you forget the few idealistic realities of our races... First of all, you can see me, meaning you're either a human with high spiritual energy, or a shinigami. Second, you have the reaitsu of someone who isn't humane, yet humane at the same time." Nera was an innocent girl who knew of darkness, yet she held that darkness in the light of the moon and had knowledge of many things.

From life she had studied the world around her, using her basic knowledge and expanded it to general and then difficult ideas and philosophical ideals. Her logic expands to equilibrium of worlds, as she was never showing any hostility right now.

"And do y' think yourself smart for callin' me out on it?" Arrancar. Aislinn restrained herself from saying it, but given the girl's attitude and overall demeanor, she couldn't be anything but an arrancar. That revelation put Ash on her toes. Her hand slipped deeper into her pocket, pinching a round soul candy between two fingers.

"You yourself are walkin' on air. Now, call me crazy, but that's somethin' fair unnatural,"

"Oh come now, you yourself walk on air, then again I believe only high-leveled shinigami can do that." The girl looked at Aislinn and turned around walking to the grave and dusted off the dirt and touched the engraving. "A friend who lives in death was taken, and now that person has chosen to become the god of death." The name was familiar to her and she turned around and looked at Aislinn.

"Now, tell me, what is your name?" She used the kind and sweet tone to ask her and waited for a reply as she kept her hands behind her back and looked at the sky.

"Aislinn," She replied, seeing no particular harm in telling the supposed arrancar her name. "Though y' might say it's customary to offer your own name first,"

Although her tone was light, she didn't go as far as to offer her a nickname. That seemed altogether too friendly. In Ash's mind, all arrancar were the enemy, and it was a feeling she couldn't shake even now. Despite the girl's friendly tones, Ash was definitely perceiving something less than friendly about her. It put Ash even more on her guard.

"Nero vi Sombra." The girl said as she moved her left hand over her hair and brought it to the right side of her face and looked at Aislinn. "I believe customs to be only guides to those who wish to follow them, otherwise they have no meaning to them. Besides, you seem to be afraid." Nera fed on her personality and actions as she then simply said ,"Come now, even you wouldn't be so mean to a person who has done nothing to you."

"Nera, eh?" Aislinn repeated, testing the name on her tongue. Her face darkened ever so slightly at the arrancar's insinuation. "Well, Nera, I c'n tell ya I'll not be fearing you. Mind-- 's always best to be on your guard. If you're as knowledgeable of our world as y' show, y' oughta know we have a few enemies about. Y'd be a fool to let drop your guard entirely,"

Ash grinned and continued with a lilt, "And you're not a fool, now, are ya, Nera?"

"Really now, you would be thinking I have let down my guard?" Nera said as she turned around and pointed her left fist at Aislinn and released a quick purple bala blast, which was a compressed version of a cero as it had the complex reaitsu control and form, yet it was small and instead of a beam, it shot out like a bullet which was twenty times faster than a normal cero. "If I beat you, you tell me where that person is..." She said with a smile yet had a cold voice as her right hand pointed at the grave. "He's there, isn't he?" She asked as if trying to steal information from Aislinn to get the knowledge of that person's location.

Sharp instinct saved Aislinn from the bala, but it was a near thing. She fairly threw herself out of is path, rolling across the forest floor before surging to her feet. She freed her hand from her pocket, revealing a small, round soul candy between her thumb and forefinger. Before Nera could throw another attack at her, she popped the candy into her mouth.

Aislinn's gigai stumbled back a pace as Aislinn herself stepped forward, hand on the hilt of her zanpakuto. Her artificial soul, a Yuki type, seemed to realize that now was not, in fact, the time to bandy words and retreated into the forest. Ash straightened her shinigami attire and crossed her arms, cocking her hips in a self-assured manner.

"Not that I have any clue what you're on about, but I'd not be telling ya even if I did," Aislinn told Nera in a hard tone. "'So 'nless you're looking for a scrap, y'd best drop this now,"

"Oh come now, his scent is on you... For a werewolf, you should realize that the scent of those you are in contact with always stay therefore giving you a mark of others." Nera said as she shifted her collar to reveal her mask fragments, a necklace of fangs that remained as jaws below her. Here zanpakuto remained on her back as she pulled out something from her left wrist, a strange handle-like small pole that had a moon symbol on it. The item moved between her index and middle finger until she moved it to her waist.

"Now then, Aislinn, you think after all this you believe I would stop and give up... Honto?" Nera pointed up at the moon which revealed that sun has setted and the forest was full of shadows and moonlight. "When shadows are devoured by even darker shadows, the curtain pulls back and reveals a world without light!" Nera shouted this phrase as she disappeared from sight and was now hidden among the forest waiting for her prey.
