Rider Name: C'zha
Rider Age: 33
Rider Gender: male
Rider Sexuality: heterosexual

Rider History: After a very long and drawn-out labor, Charla finally gave birth to a squalling baby boy, Machaizur. The boy's father was a brownrider, who came onto Charla, a journeywoman healer at Telgar Weyr, after a mating flight in which his brown lost. Nine months later, Machaizur was born and dumped upon one of the lower caverns women, for her to raise as her own. His mother was more interested in continuing her training and hopefully being promoted to a Masterhealer, while his father was much too busy with his duties as a rider to care for him. Machaizur grew up as privileged as any other weyrbrat, never wanting for anything. He had friends a plenty, and as much love as he could want from his foster mother. As soon as he was old enough, Machaizur was found by a bluerider to be suitable to stand! His mother was infinitely proud and pleased. However, clutch after clutch, Machaizur was left alone and without a dragon. Disheartened, the boy began to dread the trips onto the sands every turn or so.

Machaizur started to worry about his future around the age or 16, when he was left standing for what must have been the fourth time. He hadn't been trained in any craft, nor had he displayed any sort of extraordinary talents. He certainly did not want to be sent away from the Weyr, but the young man resigned himself to the fact that he'd probably be sent off to some Hold to work at general labor. So comfortable with that fate he became, Machaizur made plans to leave the Weyr after trying his luck at standing only once more, despite the fact he had many turns of eligibility remaining. The young man told no one of his plans to leave, not even his mother, for fear of rebuke.

Machaizur kept true to his word to himself and made one more appearance on the sands. It was that day that Machaizur's world was turned upside-down. A massive bronze literally exploded from within his shell and found his way across the sands to the hardly-paying-attention Machaizur. << C'zha! C'zha! Look at me! C'zhaaaa! I'm Enbrieth, I'm hungry, and you'd better feed me as soon as possible! >> From that day forward, C'zha had something more important to do that wallow in self pity. He devoted himself to his bronze, and they thrived.

They graduated Weyrling Training with little difficulty, having found a few challenges along the way. The pair took it easy. There was no Thread! What else could they do? What was there for them to do other than wing drills and paperwork? The bronze pair have mostly been assigned to running deliveries and transporting various VIPs- and despite the slow, tedious duties of little importance. C'zha is the happiest he's been his entire life~ save for the day Enbrieth found him!

Rider Personality: C'zha is one of the most easy-going men one will ever meet. He loves to laugh, and make others laugh. He's a nice guy, and quite the people-person. He loves to chat, whether its small talk, or a heart-to-heart conversation about.. well, whatever the topic may be! He doesn't strive for approval and acceptance, and prefers not to wonder about what others think of him. He goes about life in a day-to-day manner, dealing with problems and issues as they come up.

The bronzerider finds it incredibly rewarding to work with anyone who needs to be taught. He is highly skilled in interacting with people, and finds a challenge in trying to impart knowledge to another person. C'zha holds a soft spot for weyrlings; he relishes in the opportunity to share in that tender stage of a young pair's life, where they get to know one another and experience the world around them for the first time together. The bronzerider rarely gets the chance to teach Weyrlings, as he has no desire to usurp the Weyrlingmaster- but he offers himself as a mentor for any rider who wants some extra learning time, whether it is a weyrling on his or her own time, or a newly raised rider. He's a great teacher; all of his students can relate to him, and find his lessons both fun and informative.

Perhaps C'zha's only downfall is his inability to take anything seriously. The bronzerider finds life exciting and enjoyable, so much so that he is hardly ever caught somber, contemplative, or distressed. He finds a reason to laugh in every situation, even at the most inappropriate of times. Call it a lack of maturity, or call it enjoyment of life; however you put it, it's not a good thing. Especially not when one is in a position of authority.

Rider Appearance: He has messy red-brown hair that comes down to his chin. Often unruly, C'zha forces it into a sort of ponytail. One lock or two usually evades his grasp and hangs over his eyes, which he repeatedly brushes to the side. His eyes are a warm gray, reminding one of a stormy day, but nicer. Usually half closed; he gives himself a sort of sleepy appearance. His left eyebrow is severed in half by a white and slightly puckered scar making him look like rugged kind of guy. His mouth is a lopsided smile, or a grin, since he is easily amused most of the time.

Medium size in height, he's not the smallest or the tallest. He's of an average build, not thin and lanky, nor chubby and stout. C'zha is usually wearing wherhide boots, shined and black, canvas style pants that end abruptly at the beginning of his boots, and either a sleeveless shirt or no shirt at all. The climate of C'zha's home matters not; he loves to display his body, toned and well muscled from being a dragonrider for over fifteen turns.

Dragon Name: Enbrieth
Dragon Color: bronze
Dragon Appearance: Drunk with Liquid Confidence Bronze~ #9C661F
Predominately a light tan, with minuscule specks of gold sprinkled across his body. His muzzle looks like its been dipped in a darker bronze, the color dripping upwards to an uneven edge around his cheeks and eyes. His front toes are the same color and pattern. A dark, almost-black bronze is drizzled along his spine and down his thighs, and his entire wing-back save for the trailing edge is the same dark bronze. The very end of Enbrieth's tail is stained a reddish-bronze.

Within a sea of rutilant champagne float glimmering bubbles of bourbon, evocative of merrily drunken friends laughing and dancing together inside of some loud and rowdy tavern. As though he were impatient to wait for a glass, one of the drunken friends seems to have dipped his muzzle straight into a barrel of brandy. The warm amber has stained the bronze's muzzle, as well as his front toes, which he used to hold the barrel steady while he drank. A different drunken tavern-goer looks to be a clumsy lush; a flask of whiskey has been tipped over, its darker-than-brandy color drizzled along his spine, drip-drip-dripping down his flanks. Backsplash from the mess has leapt up to stain the bronze's wingbacks, a stunning mix of amber and metallic flecks of fool's gold. As the night of drunken revelry winds to a close, the bronze finds himself curled happily around a cask of... something bubbly and warm, his tail lazily dipped into a vat spiced cider.

Dragon Personality: Enbrieth is first and foremost a people-pleaser. He loves humans (especially His) and seeks to make sure that those he loves are well taken care of. Always the first to offer himself, His, and their combined talents, his rider should expect to have his free time volunteered out to any cause that catches his bronze's attention. Lost your good luck charm? He will find it. Need help with a craft project? Don't worry! His can help you out! He is the epitome of the 'good neighbor', always focused on the needs of others over his own. His rider will have to be extremely careful not to let Enbrieth spread himself too thin or work himself too hard. Even though he's got a bronze's stamina, his heart and mind can only take so much before he'll break down. C'zha will also have to help cushion the blows of rejection or failure, which cut Enbrieth deeply. He cannot fathom why people wouldn't want his help or would scorn his good intentions.

In a Utopian world where everyone lived in harmony, this bronze would be the perfect leader. His people-oriented thinking, willingness to "get his hands dirty" for the people, and overall helpful nature would ensure that nobody got left unattended. Unfortunately, in the dog-eat-dog world of Telgar, Enbrieth's kind and gentle temperament puts him at a disadvantage. His type of personality is easy to take advantage of, and he is frequently pushed aside by more ambitious bronzes and even browns looking for ranked positions. Because Enbrieth wishes to please everyone, he has a hard time making quick decisions, and thus those who can be decisive easily out-compete him in the struggle for rank. This doesn't seem to phase him much, as it leaves him more time to offer a helping hand to everyone.

He believes in giving everyone a chance, and thus chases greens and golds equally. Flights are one of the few times that Enbrieth gets riled up and excited, and his rider will have a difficult time convincing him not to chase a female dragon.

Why did Enbrieth choose C'zha?: Both C'zha and Enbrieth share a love of people, and that is perhaps what drew the bronze's attention in the first place. Easy-going and happy C'zha is just the kind of rider that can put up with his dragon's constant need to help others as well as his desire to take off after practically everything that Rises. Surely C'zha won't mind having his time volunteered out if it allows for him to talk to new people, right? And he won't mind if he ends up in bed with someone he's never met? After all, a stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet! Though the bronze doesn't have an innate love of children specifically, he can certainly understand His' desire to teach them, and will imitate His whenever the occasion calls for him to mentor a younger dragon. C'zha may find that his lack of maturity is balanced by Enbrieth's empathetic nature, as his bronze will be the first to correct him if he believes His has hurt someone else's feelings. Similarly, C'zha's independence will help the bronze through rejections, reminding him that His will always appreciate him.
