I was wondering....What do all of you do to keep fit/excersise?

Personally, I try a variety of things at least 3 days a week.

Like... I really enjoy dancing or running for cardio. And I usually do squats, curl ups, push ups,and a couple of other things as well.

Do you have any advice for what to do for excersising?

I go to the gym three days a week and alternate exercises. One day is treadmill, the next is elliptical, the third is bike. I also use some of the resistance weights at the gym [the leg press sled, the leg curl and extension machines, and the weighted crunch machines]. Additionally, I do sit-ups, stretches and the like at home daily.

If I had someone to actually spot for me [my boyfriend has been talking about switching gyms to help his mom train, so he may soon be helping me out there!], I'd do free weights. But. I don't feel like paying an extra 600 a month for a trainer. <_<;;

I'm considering doing some spin classes or aerobics classes, and trying out the rock wall, but I need to find out if it'll cost me anything extra. I'm doubtful, but I need to make sure.

I'm also thinking about convincing friends to play racquetball or volleyball with me, since I know I have access to the gym's courts at no extra cost.

I run everyday! Unless it gets too laaate, then I use the elliptical machine we have. I do ab workouts, too~! Running is so nice~ I just wish it would get cooler here.

I usually go 2 or 3 times a week to the gym. I'll do a half hour on two of the three: bike, stairmaster and elliptical. Once in a while I run, but I don't like to- I've got a bad knee and the treadmills don't exactly stop if I was to fall. I just started doing some resistance training- assisted pull-ups, row machine, inner and outer thigh press, and declining sit-ups with a medicine ball held at chest level.

I really hate the gym though. sweatdrop I'd rather if I was able to get hardcore into martial arts or a weightlifting class again but... yeah. College drains me so I don't feel like doing those things every day. D: Ewww college fat.

Wow. A lot of your work out plans are so much more advance than mine... >_>;; I need to amp up my excersising strategy.

In a way it does. It still gets you up and moving. Doing walking and such.

I'm naturally skinny, no matter what or how much I eat.
I don't excercise much at all...

However, I'm starting yoga next quarter!

I used to be that way. Trust me, it won't last forever. neutral

I've started a new workout regiment! It's a lot more intense than before haha. I'm trying to lose a pound a week.

I cycle for about 8miles a day/ 4 or 5 days a week. This semester I live 4mi away from campus and my bike is my main means of transportation- so this part of the regiment isn't terribly optional unless the weather is terrible.

Classes!
Mondays: "Total workout" aerobics fitness class - 1 hour; then Pilates for 1 hour. + 8miles bike
Tuesdays: 8mi bike - No gym classes today
Wednesdays: "Game2Move class" Where we play DDR for an hour! It's really fun smile + 8mi bike
Thursdays: DDR - 1hr and/or Power Workout class - 1hr + 8mi bike
Friday- Sun: rest days

And I just got approved to use the fitness room, where I will be using the weight machines and cardio machines. I want to run in a race at the end of the semester, so I need to start training for that. I'm going to run a mile twice a week to begin with. Other than that, I'll be using the same machines I already was, plus a low-back exercise and an ab machine. I lost 10lbs this last month or so already. smile
