Who: Anyone! (infected or not!) Where: Yuurei and Lucia’s Home (for more information click here! When: Sunset Weather: Clear, cool, and crispLucia put the finishing touches on the front porch’s decorations before closing the door behind her. Everything looked perfect on the outside! The fake spider webs were everywhere: from the balcony railing to the porch rail was strung the white clingy material with small plastic spiders clinging to it. The porch veranda was cut off by a web that went from the porch’s roof to floor. A cauldron, a real one that Yuurei made Lucia promise to be careful with, was filled with a glowing green smoking liquid next to the front door. The tape, of spooky sounds was hidden behind it, but the strobe light that alternately lit and darkened the yard and porch made it so no one could spot the boom box anyway. The yard was decorated like a graveyard with black and orange lights illuminating the fake headstones Yuurei and the kitten had set up. A fog machine added to the spooky effect. And, of course, there was the largest pumpkin Lucia had been able to find cut into a glowing jack-o-lantern whose menacing face was actually scary. Inside the foyer Yuurei double checked that the access to her bedroom was locked off and smiled up at the work the raevan had done. The foyer, dining room and great room were decorated with orange and black streamers. Everywhere one looked there was a hint of Halloween: from the spooky porcelain Halloween village to the lit up plastic pumpkins, from the flickering candles to the black lights to the real pumpkins and various other smaller jack-o-lanterns. There were candy bowls on every table filled with all sorts of sweets and candy. The kitchen was decorated with objects from Yuurei’s basement lab/worship area and made to look like a mad scientist’s lair. The kitten had a knack for this. Even the upstairs was decorated with purple and orange Christmas lights, just incase anyone ventured upstairs. Lucia nodded with a grin as her decorations. Even her guardian did a nice job with her costume, fittingly getting that sexy witch’s costume from the Halloween store after Ebony and Cordelia left. Lucia had gone with a tight low cut leopard-print dress with an attached tail and cat paw gloves. She had tossed aside the ears that came with the costume, preferring her own purple and white and also kept her bell collar on. It just fit so well. The kitten ventured up to her room and out onto the balcony to wait for the first guests to arrive before she sped to the door.

Josh pulled up to Yuurei’s house. His car gave a few haggard putters before he turned off the engine. “Stupid piece of junk.” Josh mumbled out of bad habit. Anyone in the area probably knew hat that had arrived now. The boy turned to his bunny passenger and probed gently, “You all ready for the party?”
LuLu’s ears perked up over the sequined rim of her princess hat. Her fingers were busily twisting and fiddling with the sheer pink fabric that hung elegantly from its pointed tip. She nodded eagerly in response to Josh‘s question, “Yes! I want to go say hi now.” With that, the half torso flung open the car door and floated out of the car. She recoiled only for a few seconds to slam the door shut. Josh groaned as he heard the sound of his brittle car take the blow. He was sure that the bunny would completely knock off the door one day. The boy soon hopped from the battered truck himself and took a greater care in closing his side of the car. He could see LuLu bouncing impatiently at the side walking waiting for him.
Josh took the lead as he steadily made his way through their makeshift graveyard and quaint strobe lights. He found the set up cute. Once or twice, he even could consider it scary. LuLu, on the other hand, was borderline terrified as she made her way to the house.
The frei was frantically looking over her shoulders at the various, random blinking lights. She tried to take account of each one. The task was growing harder and harder by the second as the flashes accumulated and amassed before her eyes. She also took notice of the ghouls and ghosts hidden among the flickering beams. A face would jump out at her accompanied by a vivid surge of orange then a dismembered hand rising from the earth. Josh could feel her shoulders trembling as she clung to his legs. “Luuuu,” the boy cooed, “It is all fake. Calm down.”
The raevan looked at him then looked around again. She held some doubt in the boy. Especially when she saw the severed foot on one of the porch rails. The girl tugged Josh to the door and knocked frantically. She wanted to be inside. NOW.

Lucia's eyes reflected green in the light as she opened the door just as LuLu knocked. The bunny almost looked scared and Lucia smiled, her pointy canine teeth shone as she smiled. "Hi!" she said happily brushing her hair out of her face with the back of her paw-covered hand to show off her pink nose and black-painted whiskers. "Come in! If you dare. . ." she grinned pushing the door all the way open. "Are you a princess?" she asked the bunny with a smile.
Yuurei peeked into the foyer from the couch in the living room. All of the old movies were set to play in the DVD player and currently the old Vincent Price House of Wax was playing. She waved at Josh and LuLu as she spied them. "Come on in!" she called to the duo.

The figures of a silver haired vampire and a white haired ninja-cowboy pulled up on a cruiser with time to spare. Turning off the engine Xan pulled off his helmet helping his charge with his specially made helmet (to accommodate his horn). Placing said helmets on the back of the bike he watched Domevlo carefully the excitement and curiousness in his eyes were evident on his face. "You okay?" Xan inquired taking a look around the yard and chuckling to himself at all the decorations. It appeared the lady didn't hold any punches. He liked it.
For the young frei his eyes were filled with a curious air as he floated forward picking through the decorations carefully. To him it was all real. With his handy raid can at the ready he watched carefully for anything to pop out at him unexpectedly. Ever since talk of this Hello Ween thing had started it had gone from normal to scary almost over night. "It's not real, Domo, they're decorations." Xan tried to explain but he got a cold stare from the frei who moved closer to almost mold himself to the cowboy... well the vampire now. He could only chuckle removing his cape from his carry-on compartment. "Well lets get inside then, no point staying out here."
"Domo not like... scary!" He looked around glaring at all the weird decor. His attention on his guardian he began pushing him harshly toward the front door. "We go! Inside ... now... Domo say please!"
"Okay okay... lets get inside. C'mon." Heading to the front door, Xan wrapped lightly. He hadn't met this Yuurei person but had heard about the party, it seemed to accumulate quite a buzz. Hopefully it wasn't rude to just appear without introducing himself first but Domo needed to get out and meet others like himself. Besides he was getting tired of the frei destroying his house for one reason or another. At least when he went out he was in a lighter mood.

LuLu found herself confronted with two new lights. Twin green orbs stared at here through the darkness the house exuded. The menacing spheres grew softer as they grew closer until the rabbit could make out the familiar shape of Lucia standing in the entrance way. The raevan did not think much of Lucia’s warning. Nothing could be worse than that yard! Immediately, LuLu found herself entwining around the older frei. Arms locked around the leopard print dress and the rabbit was safely inside the house and embracing her new friend. She released the kitten after a few seconds and chimed, “Good to see you,” she added, “The yard is scary.”
LuLu paused to look at her own outfit. Her slim fingers smoothed out the wrinkles in her pink bodice and traced over the stitch work in pride, “I am. You like?” LuLu smiled cheerfully at her counterpart, “You are a cat?”
Josh made his way in behind LuLu. He broke away from the prattling duo of floating torsos and made his way over to the TV that was blaring with old horror flicks. He heard Yuurei’s voice echo from another room. He quickly spotted the blond witch and waved. “Hey there!” The boy was only moderately dressed himself. It appeared that he had decided to forgo his Halloween spirit this year and instead had chosen to wear a pair of rabbit ears and a matching tail. It may been his form of a joke?

Yuurei smiled at Josh as he entered the Great Room. ”Happy Halloween!” she called to the teenager. ”You’re looking so cyuute” she teased. Most 16-year-old boys wanted to be hot or sexy; not cute. The blonde grinned. It was his fault for being a bunny. Yuurei sipped her glass of dark wine, her witch’s hat resting beside her on the couch. ”If you want, there is some hot apple cider in the kitchen” she offered, pointing the way and rising to her feet. She placed her black hat on her head and shook out her hair, and began walking to the kitchen, ready to get cider or water, or whatever this guest might want.
Lucia laughed lightly as LuLu hugged her and confessed her fear. ”Scary, eh? Well the inside is pretty scary too. Don’t watch the TV. It’s playing all sorts of scary movies tonight. And maybe the ghosts and ghouls will come out of the dungeon.” Lucia smiled, at the costume LuLu had worn. ”Of course I’m a cat! And yes, it suits you very well.” The princess always had to be rescued by the knight or prince. It worked for the frightened bunny and the cat’s eyes flashed at her prey when a sudden knock drew her attention away. She turned her head to the sound and realized another partygoer was here.
Opening the door slightly, Lucia looked in surprise at the face of two people she didn’t know. ”Hi!” she said, pushing it open the rest of the way. ”You must know LuLu. I’m Lucia.” She looked past the human and to the raevan behind him. This frei’s eyes were dark, like Vyn’s. His pale silvery skin shone in the flickering candle and she walked outside the door to greet him. She liked his scent. He was hers. Lucia leaned close to Domo and, with a shine of her eye and a smile, she rubbed her neck against his shoulder, a small purr escaping her lips. ”You are?” she asked with another nuzzle, this time with her nose and cheek.

As the door opened, Xan was trying his best to pry the frightened frei from his hips, he was such a child when it came to festivities and things like this. Thankfully the beautiful raevan that had greeted them was a great distraction. "Hello." Xan replied back finally managing to remove Domo from him before he tripped into the other.
Domo frowned at his guardian but was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the other. She was like him, he noticed instantly but was taken aback by the nuzzle. Bristling out of confusion he just stood... or rather floated in a stiff manner. The way she rubbed against him was a close reminder of those strange things that were opposite of his guardian's mutts. What were they... "Kitty!" He let out suddenly. "Domo know what kitty is... you kitty!" He smiled, though hidden, he reflected in his eyes as he loosened up. "Domo is Dome'lo." Again that smile remained and he greeted the kitten similar to what she was doing thinking this was the way to greet others. Turning to Xan he gave him a happy glance then turned back. "She kitty!" At least he liked cats better than dogs which was a plus. "What call kitty?"

Josh chuckled softly. A hand went to readjust his rabbit ear adorned headband and smooth out his bangs, “I just took some fashion advice from Lu is all. Thanks though. You look…” The boy tried to find the right words, ones that did not consist of ‘hot’, ‘smoking’, or ‘banging’. “Positively astonishing.” He gave another nervous chuckle. If you looked closely, you could see the faintest color surge to his cheeks. Josh followed the busty enchanter into the kitchen. He leaned against the counter rather casually, “Just water please.”
LuLu listened to Lucia advice wide eyed. The slightest shiver shot through her spine. Her voice came out as a small wavering curl, “G-ghosts. They are fake right?” The rabbit frei spared a look around the kitten’s home and noticed that the inside was not much better than the yard. Pumpkins, lights, and countless decorations flooded the rooms. LuLu tried to remember each one. She liked being aware of her surroundings. However, the girl was having trouble keeping her eyes on any one object for too long. The fake blood and doll like eyes that ornamented many of the decorations made her feel on edge. As well, the sheer mass of the decoration was starting to make her feel crowded.
Confined.
LuLu broke away from staring at a plastic gargoyle to see that Lucia had left her to answer the door. The bunny peeked over Lucia’s pale shoulder to see an equally pallid raevan; except, his skin held a familiar silver sheen. LuLu chirruped, “Domo.” She accompanied the statement with a small wave and a smile.

“Varun, if you do not stop growling at the decorations right now I will take you right back home!”
The redhead’s attention snapped forward. Prying himself away from the menacing jack o’ lantern, he floated after his guardian, lips still curled in a snarl as he took his place behind her. He was not about to let a threatening vegetable get away with something nasty just because it was, indeed, a vegetable. The raevan fluttered his wings in irritation, tossing his head twice. Red hair began to fall from his topknot and Kinsey sighed. “Come here, you big stud,” she grumbled sarcastically, “at let me fix your hair. You’ve got to be more careful, okay? You’ve got so much damn hair-”
The Frei held out his hand and looked at Kinsey expectantly. “Bad word,” he muttered tersely, fixing his guardian with a very sharp look. She sighed.
“I’ll pay you when we get home, Vars. I only have enough for bus tolls, okay?” She gave his head a fond pat. “Besides, it’s your fault I don’t have any pockets,” she reminded him, adjusting her robes, or whatever they were supposed to be called, for the fifth time. He was the one who insisted they match. Somehow, Kinsey ended up a geisha. And the thing was, geisha were truly lovely women, very graceful, beautiful, talented. Kinsey did not feel qualified.
Given, Varun wasn’t exactly qualified to be a samurai either, but he wanted to wear the armor. They were able to ‘modify’ it to fight his wings, so she wasn’t exactly able to say no.
“Pay Varun attention, then,” the seasonal Frei sighed, rolling his eyes. He was talking, and she wasn’t listening. Deeming Kinsey a lost cause, the Leviathan floated to the door and rapped on the wood twice, just as Kinsey had shown him. The waiting was the hard part. Fidgeting impatiently, he glanced back at Kinsey with raised eyebrows.
“Yeah, I’m sure it’s the right address this time, Varun! Don’t give me that look! You‘re the one who insisted they read the directions!”

Yuurei grinned, grabbing a Halloween-themed cup and filled it with water from the fridge, placing a few bat-shaped ice cubes in the cup. ”Here you go!” she said with a smile. ”How have you been?” While the blonde liked spending time with Josh, she certainly hoped that one of the guardians who showed up was a devilishly handsome man in his 20s or early to mid 30s. There was no harm in flirting with the young guardian, but she wasn’t one to fall for jailbait. As she heard another knock Yuu’s eyebrows rose. Just how many people had her dark-haired frei invited?!
”Lucia” purred the kitten to the silvery frei as she nuzzled again into him, and placed her hands on his chest. Another knock startled her from her As LuLu spoke to Domo, Lucia turned to face her, but was again distracted by another knock on the door. Opening it wide, she smiled at the next guests and said, “Hi! I’m Lucia” once she saw that they were strangers. She propped open the door with a rock that she had grabbed earlier so that any visitors would be able to just enter. She turned back to her prey briefly. The rabbit seemed to be more frightened as she took in the interior decorations. Lucia crouched down slightly, a smile playing on her lips. The weak animal was unsuspecting. Now was the time to attack.
Ignoring the new visitors, the kitten leaped at LuLu her hands landing squarely on the rabbit’s chest as she pushed the frei to the floor. She had surprised the weaker animal and pounced before she could escape!

"Lu-she-ah" Domo tried pronouncing her name deciding he liked the way it taste in his mouth. "Lu-she-ah!" That got another smile before blinking and finding the kitten had moved away from him. He frowned and turned to where she had opened the door and a familiar tumble of red hair greeted the young frei. "'Arun!" He pointed still chopping up the other frei's name quite nicely. "Lulu...?" The sudden disappearance of the bunny got another frown, he had wanted to return her wave but the kitten was now on top of her. Standing stiffly, Domo wasn't sure what to do or say and so remained silent for now.
Thanatos just chuckled at the commotion between the frei. He liked that they all had such vibrant and different personalities. Though while it was nice to watch he hoped there was others of the human variety that he could talk to during the party. "Um... where are the refreshments?" he asked more to himself then anyone but assumed the kitten would be an ideal host and escort him some place less... attack worthy. "Bit famished after that ride over."

“I am doing well. How have you been?” Josh smiled at Yuurei as he graciously took the cup offered to him. He watched the small, clear bats clink against the pumpkin print glass. The chilly creatures brought a smile to his lips. “You are really getting into the Halloween spirit here.”
LuLu’s lavender eyes were flicking frantically around the interior of Lucia’s home. She was trying desperately to calm her nerves. All her attempts failed as she spotted a creamy skinned blur coming at her. The rabbit had managed to cover her eyes with her hand and jump up into the air, a failed attempt at fleeing, before she was pinned onto the ground. The frei gave a squeal of distress. It was easily drowned out by the more vocal decorations and a shriek on the television. Her wide eyes tore open to spy Lucia. LuLu’s body grew somewhat more lax. Even though she was trapped, it was bellow a familiar raevan. The bunny murmured timidly, “If Lucia wanted more hugs. She could ask.”

Varun watched in silence as an unfamilar Frei let them in, introducing herself breifly before wheeling away when something else caught her interest. The Leviathan was affronted and began to puff up, tossing his head with that gleam in sea green eyes Kinsey was sure meant trouble. But before the Raevan could work himself into a tither, something else caught the seasonal Frei's attention. There was only one who insisted on botching his name so horrifically.
"Domo," Varun replied, floating in from the doorway to meet up with the ashen Raevan. "Domo have-" But whatever the redhead was about to inquire was cut short, LuLu's squeal catching his attention. Headfins splaying out to the side, Varun frowned and tipped his head to the side. "Whatfor?" he asked Domo, nodding to the pair of strange females. "Dance?" That's what he had done with a girl, but he had done it much better. They didn't fall down on each other.
Meanwhile, Kinsey let herself in quietly, pausing to watch Varun breifly. Whatever anger he was displaying earlier was gone, and now he simply seemed...well, he seemed confused, but he knew most of the Raevans here and hopefully, hopefully, that would keep the redhead out of trouble for the evening. Sighing to herself, Kinsey shuffled by, cursing herself for the tenth time for allowing herself to be talked into these silly robes.

Melisande drifted around the corner of the block, where Aki had dropped them off. Holding Sevvie's hand tightly in her own, she suddenly paused as she spotted the house. "A-are you sure? It looks so scary!!" The muse blanched, looking even more pale, if that was possible. Her hair was down against her back in soft waves, curls pulled out a bit and the hair at her temples pulled back. With her brows darkened and her lips blood red, she looked surprisingly close to what Aki called The White Queen. As she understood it, the White Queen was like a princess, only better. Then again, Aki hadn't taken much time to explain. Swallowing, still holding the nymph's hand tight, Pasha drifted a few inches closer to the door. "Lucia? Are you there?"

"....." Unfortunately, Sevilin was by no means Melisande's knight in shining armor this night. Both literally and figuratively. At the mention of his friend going as the White Queen, the sea nypmh just had to go as a queen too! He went as the Red Queen. His long blue hair had been sprayed red with temporary dye and Melisande had graciously curled his floor-length hair and pinned it up in a large beehive that was really heavy on his thin shoulders. His face was made up and his usual cherry-red lips were masked white and a heart of lipstick was placed in the center. They both looked perfectly beautiful. He was pretty sure they would be the belles of the ball.
".... I-It's okay Meli... I'm sure it's all fake. It'll be o--waaAAAaahh~!" A cackle had echoed behind the pair from the secretive boom box, leaving Sevilin to squeal across the yard. He avoided Pasha's eyes, happy his make-up hid the dark flush that bloomed in his cheeks. How embarrassing, he never considered himself to be so gullible. He knocked a little harder than he meant to on the door, but bloody hell he wanted in!!
