Piccolo's for sure.
French horns played by bad players aren't good either.

Ah, so much hate for the piccolos? I play the flute myself, and I must say, I prefer the flute over the piccolo. If it's not played right, the piccolo really can sound terrible.
But for me, I cannot STAND the trumpet when it's not played right. It's probably because certain people who play it (and used to play it) in my band played extremely loudly, and they would be sitting right behind me.

I play the flute, and I hate piccolos because they sound terrible in cold weather. I don't mind the trumpets, as long as they are not right behind me, and are really loud. I hate oboes when they are being played by noobs.

I dont like the Trumpets ethier but because in our band the flutes play louder than them and they never practice and flutes and trumpets share the melody alot so if they dont learn there part we have to get a easyr peice of music! we dont have any piccolos or bassoon in our band and my bestfriend is the only oboe in the school
~go flutes! heart

And poorly played brass instrument just sounds horrid.
Especially trumpet. Nothing sounds worse than a trumpet blaring away cracking every note

I was one of them that year and we learned to march with ear plugs. I'm sorry for 8 though D:

I can't, without a doubt, stand the oboe. It sounds like a fly buzzing around.
