The HyperNet, accessed by bots all around zOMG, contains a wealth of useful and sometimes otherwise unknown information about the areas of Gaia. I think we need to have this information on file.
The HyperNet Origins of the HyperNet: The town of Aekea is well-known for its AI (artificial intelligence) personalities.
Those AIs move around in robotic bodies, but they aren't constrained to those mere metal forms.
The vast intellects of the AIs dwell within a cyberspace area that they call the 'HyperNet'.
The AIs decided long ago to let Gaians access that thoughtsphere and tap it for data when needed.
Try not to think too hard about the fact that you're rummaging around in someone's mind for this information.
Also, every HyperNet access allows access to Game Help, which can be found in the MENU in the lower right corner.

Barton Town Barton Town: Barton Town is the oldest of the towns in this region, and has something of a quirky attitude about itself.
The citizens of Barton Town like the quiet, backwater kind of lifestyle, and their architecture, the guards' antiquated armor, and the laws against vehicles keep the town pedestrian and serene.
That is, until the Animated arrived anyway.
The Barton Regulars:The Barton Regulars are the law enforcement squad for Barton Town. Their commander, Leon, is a huge fan of swords & sorcery novels. He figures that his forces will be better protected while wearing plate armor...and it makes his guards less intimidating to other citizens.
Plus, it never ceases to make him grin when they get together for photos.
Other Options: Tutorials: Doing Tasks, Chatting, Power Ups, The Fountain Game.
South Gate Auto Text: Barton Town is a (usually) quiet place where you can relax, talk to its citizens, play the Fountain Game, and generally kick back, safe from the Animated assaults you find everywhere else.
Be sure to walk around and talk to the citizens of Barton Town! They have lots of little tasks that can earn you Charge Orbs while you relax!

Village Greens Village Greens: The Village Greens has long been a social picnicking area between Barton Town proper (to the north) and the suburbian area called 'Towns' (to the south).
Since the Event though, it has become a warzone of sorts as the lawn gnomes and other ornaments have Animated and taken the area for their own.
The Barton Regulars listed same as in Barton Town

Null Chamber The Null Chamber: Where is the Null Chamber located? No one knows.
Why does it exist? No one knows.
How do we get warped here when we touch a Null Crystal? No one knows.
However, the Null Chamber is very special.
Somehow, the Chamber blocks the energy the binds your rings to your fingers. You can freely swap rings around when you are here, and you can also upgrade your rings to invest Charge Orbs into them and make your rings more powerful.
We're IMMORTAL?:When you enter the Null Chamber, it somehow stores your essence.
Whenever you're unconscious, you can release your essence and reform it in the Chamber.
Again...don't ask how this works. We don't know. But it *does* work.
So for all intents and purposes, you are now immortal and anytime you're Dazed, you can just release and reform in the Chamber.
Why Do We Use Rings?: When you enter the Null Chamber, it somehow stores your essence.
Whenever you're unconscious, you can release your essence and reform it in the Chamber.
Again...don't ask how this works. We don't know. But it *does* work.
So for all intents and purposes, you are now immortal and anytime you're Dazed, you can just release and reform in the Chamber.
Drawbacks to Rings: So you can't affect the Animated without rings, but rings come from within the Animated, and the Charge Orbs we use to power up the rings *also* come from the Animated.
Doesn't that seem peculiar?
Yes, it does. It's one of the mysteries we're investigating.
But, since we have to resist the Animated, we have no choices, so we're just going with it for now...and hope we're part of the solution, and not adding to the problem.

Bill's Ranch Bill's Ranch: Rancher Bill has been homesteading the area at the base of a dark, foreboding mountain for years now.
Despite the occasional incursions by the nasty denizens of the mountain, he and his family have toughed it out, protecting their land and helping anyone that comes through the area.
Bill's family includes Purvis, his enormously strong, but dull-witted son, and a ranch hand named Rubella, who has been with Bill long enough that he thinks of her as family.

Zen Gardens Zen Gardens: The Zen Gardens area started as a small picnic location in the middle of a big grassy field.
Eventually it was formally adopted by the Chyaku Norisu and used by its members for concentration and focus studies, grooming the garden a bit at a time.
What once was just a sunny glen has been cultivated over time into an area which is now a tourist destination for Barton Town!

Bass'ken Lake Bass'ken Lake: The Bass'ken Lake area was once a thriving lumber area, but that all dried up when the Old Aqueduct was shut down in favor of the Durem Reclamation Facility water treatment system.
Now, the few buildings left in the area are either abandoned, or utilized by the 'Deep Blue Ventures' exploration company as their base of operations.
Old Man Logan: Before becoming owner of 'The Hole,' Old Man Logan worked alongside Johnny Gambino and Edmund as a member of G-Team.
With Gambino as the ambition, Edmund as the brains, and Logan as the muscle G-Team seemed an unstoppable partnership. Eventually, differences between the three led to Logan's departure from the group and its subsequent disbanding.
No one knows for certain what caused the rift, but many have speculated that Logan became disgusted with Gambino's insatiable thirst for power and immortality - a thirst some believe led to the experiments which caused the Grunny disaster.

Old Aqueduct Old Aqueduct: The Old Aqueduct in this area is now in ruins, but it once provided the main source of drinking water for Barton Town.
Now that the Durem Reclamation Facility is in place, the aqueduct has been allowed to fall into disrepair and the jungle to the NW has quickly begun to reclaim its stones.
