It's amazing, we've never had a boy try out before. And, he's really good. He picked up the rifle and did a QUAD. No technique, of course, but, he got it up there. And he has his parallel on flag.
Any of you have guys like that?

OMG!!
We totally have 2 or 3 boys trying out for Winter Guard!!
I'm so excited!!
This is the first year we've ever had boys try out!! rofl
We have one boy who used to be a dancer...
It's going to be a good season!!

OUr band had one guy who did color guard and winter guard all four years. He was amazing with the rifle and saber, plus he almost always had some sort of solo.

we had a guy join my gurad this year and hes totally amazing, especiall on rifle. (hes only on flag but he's allowed to spin it.) heart

Our guard instructor, for the longest time, was a guy named Justin. Flaming gay, of course, but he made that guard great. He's in a corps in Nashville.

really? we have four guys for our outdorr and i think at least six will be in the wintergaurd

And he's not gay, even though I don't have a problem with gay guys. I'm just glad cause he's a cutie.
And we have a gay guard director that I love to death, he's amazing.

And we have a gay guard director that I love to death, he's amazing. There's nothing wrong with them being gay (in regards, of course, to my earlier comment saying "he was flaming gay, of course." Not to your comment Lucy biggrin biggrin ) Those were some good guards he taught though. But whoa, super gay. He had a "Guard Diva" t-shirt, tied up over his belly button, and he could force his way to the front of a lunchline at the high school.

We have had 5 guys over four years and one male instructor. They were all the best in the section. I heart guard guys

We had one guy on our guard...he was great...but he quit ~tear drop~
Oh! But in Las Vegas, one of the bands had a guy guard that I adored. :3 The theme of their show was Hairspray, so the guard wore very colorful uniforms. He had checkered suspenders and a bright pink dress shirt. My friends and I loved him. :]
Then there was this really beefy guy guard for another band...but he was always ahead of the others on guard...

i have a friend who said he thought it would be fun to join. (the bds probably wouldnt let him, though)

In the area where I'm from, all of the guys in the surrounding bands are always outdoing and out performing the girls.
