He felt lighter, more confident, more blessedly happy than he had been in a very long, long time. So it had come to this: from the hapless lost way from his family's den to a future-leader brimming with eagerness; why, the normally collected Fantasia felt as energetic as a pup! Behind him walked many different wolves, of various ages and backgrounds, of different personas and aspirations - all welcomed into their family as if they were born into his very litter. By his side was Terabithia, as ecstatic as he was and much more open about it; she had always been an expressive wolf, motherly to even strangers. Disneyana's child indeed!

What would she and Allah say, for that matter, or Yensid, when they saw the approaching group? Of course they had been notified well ahead of time of Tera's and his plans to form a pack, but were they ready? Fantasia thought back to the amont of time they had taken into creating dens and nodded to himself. Yes, they were most certainly prepared. If for some reason a wolf hadn't a den to sleep in, he would offer his own and get to rectifying the miscount immediately; this was the length of dedication he would have for these wolves. Hopefully it was a common trait that would be sown within every soul who lived here.

They approached with the dying of the sun, and the land was basked with its last rays. A good pawful of dens, each willingly hosting up to four adult wolves comfortably, made a semi-circle up ahead, ringed by what appeared to be growing (and already thick) barriers of thistles, roses and their thorns, suumac, poison ivy, and maybe one or two other unidentifiable plants - a veritable natural wall tended to by Fantasia and his family, and a job that would be passed on to The Rose Guard.

But there would be plenty of time to think of business later.

"Friends," he spoke loudly, turning his head to face them as he paused in walking. "Welcome to The Order of the Rose. Tonight, relax and converse with your fellow wolves. We are still in the process of creating borders, and soon it will be time to choose our betas." On the walk home, he and Tera had explained to the group more about the pack, about how it was organized on two fronts: The Templar Sentinels and The Rose Guard. They also explained to them the different positions available, the structure deviating a little from the regular pack hierarchy: about loyalty to only one wolf within the pack, titles and respectful behaviors, describing what every rank entailed and how they could be achieved - quests were the main option, especially for warriors.

Thus, after filling the wolves' heads with information, it would be a nice repireve for most to be able to simply explore their packlands before having a good rest. The next day he and Tera would begin calling to them wolves whose character and presented strengths would call them to higher ranked positions; this, of course, they did not tell anyone. What would a scouting job be if it wasn't done in secret after all? Fantasia stepped forward once more, leading the group to a small gap about the span of two wolves side-by-side in the barrier of thorns and poisons, and once again raised his voice, this time into a howl.

Those not present in the group, were they in the vicinity, would hear the adolescent's call. It's main purpose was to alert Allah, Disneyana, and Fantasia of their new guests, but other wolves Fanta and Tera had met with who did not happen to be in the current group had been told to be here - on the approach of the full moon. Hopefully they would come.

|~| Basically a free for all, though please do chat with others as you go. Assume, as the post states, that the wolf has some knowledge at least of the ranks and whatnot. While it's not required for you to post more than once, it would be mucho appreaciated to help develope relationships with your fellow packmates. Plus, it helps us decide who gets what position (such as those competing for Marshal and Seneschal positions for instance ;D) based on their behaviors with one another and what your form requested. |~|

Chantily appeared from the treeline even before Fantasia let loose his howl, her vivid green eyes cast about the gathering quickly - taking in those she did not know as well as those she did in one fell swoop and categorizing them within her mind just as quickly. The moon had only just begun to rise within the sky, full and bright and true in the chilly air, Chantily knew she was not late - and so assumed that those already gathered must have been told to arrive earlier. Not that it really made any difference to the she-wolf.

Trotting towards the gathering there was no hesitation in her stride - even several days after speaking with the rose marked teen, several days on which to think upon his words and ponder her actions Chantily remained intent on her chosen path.

[Insert Tera's image here]

The female felt pride surge into her chest and she stood a bit taller than she had before as she led this motley crew of wolves through the forest to their new home. They had taken the oathe, they were now banded together.

She smiled, her paws gracefully landing against the earth with each step that she took.
Fantasia was ready for this position, she thought pleasantly at the look of him.
He walked next to her, just as proud as he had ever been, and led the wolves with confidence and excellent leadership.
She was proud of him for finally finding his niche in life.

She knew mother was proud, she had stopped to make a visit to see her as she was building the rose walls. Father hadnt been around, of course Father was out alot more now trying to also recruit, and do most of the hunting so far for the family. How Disney hated the forest, but that was where Allah loved to hunt.
So he did the work for her gladly, and Tera had always wanted a love just like that.

She looked behind her when Fanta turned to speak, and she took a seat as she turned, watching each wolfs eyes as it came into the new territory.

"Welcome home." She smiled warmly.

Alesdair walked out, hearing the call from the leader he pledged himself to. He may not be under Fantasia's direct leadership but Fantasia was still one of his alphas. And of course, he was the one Alesdair met.

He walked under the trees, with his rose in mouth. He may or may not need it now but Fantasia had told him to bring the flower and he still had.

He met the she-wolf whom he met with Fantasia before. Chantily? He believed that was her name. He gave her a small nod, of respect for the she-wolf and turned. He was still set, as he always had been. Alesdair was committed, and he didn't think it would ever change.

He bowed his head, meeting Fantasia and the female wolf next him in the eyes for just a bit. There was no loss of respect in Alesdair for them.

That day her veins seemed to being powered by electric current, her fluttering heart the hard-working turbine. New lands, a new family, these roses, it was almost too much for her. The feeling she had was one of being stuffed, no unpleasant, but stretched it seemed in her chest to the extent with love and new information. Lilac eyes couldn't help but taken in all the new sights, a confident, happy grin on her face as she nodded her head respectfully before Fantasia as he spoke.

Sitting upon her haunches the golden female looked about the group of other wolves that had followed their new alphas to the Order, ignoring her sore paws and sleepy eyes. None of them seemed to look the same, so many others to talk to here! Oh, why had she been alone for so long in the first place? "Thank you." She barked in turn towards Fantasia and Tera, head slightly bowed in their presence. Though she noticed many others had given their silent appreciation, none had voiced it as she had. But it didn't matter, it was only her nature.

Chantily slipped through the mob of wolves with ease, tan and web patterned hide skimming through the openings created by the milling bodies, one of the light colored beasts barked her response to the Alphas and Chantily paused for a few moments too give her an amused look - it was good that she was pleased to be here, wolves who followed their leaders simply out of obligation were often less trustworthy then those who followed because they truly wanted to. At least that was her experience.

Continuing on her way she ran across the green pelted wolf - Alesdair and and recognizing him from her own meeting with Fantasia, returned his greeting with a more vocal one of her own.

"Alesdair, I am glad to see you came, though I expected no less" She remarked before sitting primly with tail curled about her feet, eyes turned in inspection of the others gathered. Recruiting it seemed..had gone quite well for the young Alphas.

She had been wary since day one about joining her pack mates. None of them still knew that she couldn't speak. And she figured the further the distance the more likely they would just accept her as a 'ghost' and let her stay. But seeing the structure of the pack she probally wouldn't be able to haunt them very long without something in return. It wasn't like she was scurting duties. She would have loved to serve them openly. Duty made her strong. It made her who she was. Her father Diego would have never survived as long as he did without her constant care.

Then again he was crazy. He couldn't have cared less if she spoke or not in her entire life. Maybe thats why she had such a hard time leaving after his death. Diego had been her safty; her protection...and maybe even her last link into the speaking wolves. 'Oh god, what in the hell am I doing here? These wolves are sure to banish me moment they learn about my disabilty...hell thats what every other wolf has done up to this point...'

Her head hung low and Omega-like. It was clear to her and everyone else around that she was struggling with her inner demons. Looking about once more she just couldn't take it. She WANTED to be with the pack so bad but couldn't. Maybe she could just 'ghost' her way out of the packs territory. She was better off alone...wasn't she?

It wasn't until the call had passed through the trees and barely an echo remained that Yasen emerged. Even among his packmates he felt like a newcomer, having joined later than many of the wolves gathered there. He carried himself confidently but he wasn't completely at ease; seasons of living on edge did that to a wolf, and he displayed his nervousness with a lick of his nose, though his expression remained calm. It helped that he sensed nothing but goodness from these wolves, bringing him back to the day and the reasons he had joined as well. He felt that this pack stood for something righteous, unlike the pack in which he was born.

Yasen was so immersed in his thoughts that he almost didn't notice Runescape to his right until he almost walked into her. Startled, he skirted away from her, lowering his head apologetically. Embarrassment flared inside him; it wasn't like him to be that inattentive.

Cyclops heard the young alpha call from perhaps a longer distance than most wolves would have heard it; his ears were sensitive after a lifetime of relying on them. He approached the place the call came from slowly, not wishing to be the first to answer it. If he were first, all those who arrived after would see him, and he wished to inspect the others quickly before being noticed.

He could smell quite a large gathering of wolves as he approached; wolves and the scent of vined plants, spicy and sticky-sweet. When they all bloomed, it would be almost overwhelming. He could pick out the smells of plants imprinted on his memory as painful, the dangerous flora of the forest. A barrier to those who wished to enter without knowing what lay ahead. It would offer safety, but would it be at the risk of turning away those who needed the protection?

Coming closer, he recognized some of the wolves. Fanta, the young alpha, and a female who smelled very similar. They were related in some way; possibly siblings. Chantily, the brash female who had been at that first meeting along with Cyclops, and Alesdair, the proud male. There were two more females and another male, but Cyke didn't know them.

He hung back a bit from the group, standing nearby but without quite facing them; his senses were not necessarily directional. He did not like getting too close to groups of wolves, for fear of misstepping. For all his nose and ears could do, there was nothing so accurate as sight.

Runescape gasped in silent shock as she was nearly plowed down by a half blind wolf. She stared immensely at his eye for a few seconds feeling a sigh of relief. It seamed the pack was more open to disabilities then she had thought. But it wasn't until she saw the wolf with his eyes sewn shut that she was completely at ease. There was probably nothing worse then being blind. Even as a mute, she could see, hunt, and communicate to the others to some extent. But how closed off in this world must have been not even to have one eye like the wolf trampling her had.

'It's okie. It's okie. No harm done.' Her lips moved slowly towards the one eye wolf. She was nervous about reveling herself. But it was either now or never. She'd feel so dishonest if she just kept hiding herself.

'My name is Runescape...'

And in case the other wolf had trouble lip reading as most in the beginning did, she took a claw and pressed it into the fresh earth. And in her own neat writing printed out "RUNESCAPE" and pointed to herself once again.

Yasen's appearance seemed to startle Runescape; definitely not the effect he wanted to have on her. Before he could react however, Cyclops entered the area, and Yasen noticed how she looked at him, then Cyclops' stitched up eyes and seemed to relax again. This confused him a little, so he tilted his good side towards her in the way he tended to do when he was curious.

As soon as she opened her mouth, Yasen put the pieces together. Though her lips and tongue moved slowly to pronounce every syllable, no sounds could be heard. Had she been afraid to be the only one with a disability?

He knew too well how disabled wolves were viewed by some. In his birth pack, if you so much as lost an ear you were deemed useless and cast out. It was a belief so strong that even he had believed it the day he had been injured. If he hadn't been found by a wolf who had taught him otherwise, he wouldn't have been the wolf he was today.

"Rune...scape? Runescape." He nodded, glancing between her lips and her writing, a smile appearing on his face. It must have taken courage to reveal herself to him. "I am happy to make your acquaintance, miss. My name is Yasen." He lowered his head again, this time in a polite bow, his swirled tail wagging ever so gently behind him.

She nodded at the male again excitedly whumpfhing her tail on the ground behind her. She even managed to push out a high pitch sound of joy from the speed of the air passing out of her mouth. It wasn't much but any sound was good enough for the wolfess. She then took a claw and wrote out his name letter by letter next to hers and pointed to him with another triumphant wumpf on the ground.

That was the first time she had heard her name spoken in a long time. She thought back. The last time anyone recognized her was back when her father was killed many many months again. She had so many questions to ask, so many things she wanted to say. She then took in a breath of air and calmed herself. She was acting like a puppy with her exuberance.

'Nice to meet you Yasen.' Again she mouthed out slowly. But while she did drew a small happy face above the males name. Then withdrew her paw tightly to her belly and blushed uncontrolably.

Seeing Runescape's excitement increased the speed of his own tail, and he began to chuckle. It was nice to see such cheer! During his travels, Yasen had gotten much too used to seeing wolves dwelling in misery and loneliness for one reason or another. Then he started to wonder, curiously, about Runescape's story. How did she come to be in this pack? He couldn't recall seeing her before, but he wasn't exactly the most social wolf there either.

As long as he continued to pay attention, Yasen found it easy to understand Runescape. It took a mere moment of contemplation for the words to click in his mind. He gave a good-natured laugh. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Runescape." Taking a few steps forward, he came to her name etched in the ground and drew his own little happy face by it, then turned his good side towards her again with a smile.

Disneyana was amazed, she stood quietly for a long time just watching the large group that had approached. Her children, her loves, they had actually formed this group, they had brought them here. She was stunned by it, by their openness and generosity, and she was so proud. The dens they had worked so hard to create, the time and patience of tending roses into large hedges that protected their new homes.

Finally she forced her paws into motion, she ought to be there for her children, to help them welcome the others in. She headed straight for Fanta and Tera knowing that allah and Yensid probably weren't too far behind.

"Fantasia!" She smiled and headed over to her son happily. "Your back!"
