CANON CHARACTER RULES
1. Canon characters must actually BE CANON.
What does this mean?
It means that:
- Characters from the series must stick to their previous accomplishments up to the point of the start of the roleplay (the beginning of the Shippuuden saga). [Only having learned the techniques known at the beginning of the saga, only knowing the information known from that time period, ect.]
Characters may not partake in any activities that will infringe upon the future plot coming up in arcs of the Naruto series (after the beginning of Shippuuden). [Un-canon/original love interests, dying, ect.]
2. Canon characters must make a SEPARATE ACCOUNT for roleplaying.
There are thousands of items on Gaia and even more combinations of pixelated items available. To make your character stand out both in our thread and whichever threads you move to, try and make your avatar as close to the character you're playing as possible.
Useful resources for finding items closest to the appearance of your canon character can be found at Tektek's Dream Avatar Creator. If the amount of gold to create a suitable avatar is an issue, let Tsunade know and she'll put your quest in Konoha's Affiliates post. (But don't count on any free rides on Ninja Headbands. Try a cheaper option!)

3. We need DEDICATED players.
Plan to be in the thread for an extended stay. Assigning yourself to the role of a canon character means you take up that spot on their list, and it's not available to anyone else to take.
If you're going to be away for an extended stay or are uninterested in continuing to play the character you want, please let the mod of your thread know. If you go on for a long period of time without playing your character, the mod may take you off the list and offer it to someone else.
4. Canons need to be LITERATE.
We're very serious about the quality of our canons, because it really makes the village a part of the Naruto-verse. Persons wishing to audition for the part of a canon need to show that they are proficient in role-playing, and can handle the character they've chosen.
To be able to assure that you're up to the standard, you will submit a sample post with your audition.
