Herro,
Its October so that means it is time to get ready for NaNoWriMo!
For anyone who doesn't know, NaNo is National Novel Writing Month. It starts on November 1st and goes until the end of November. The goal is to write, from scratch, a 50,000 word novel entirely in the month of November. There are no rules for how awesome or bad your novel is. With that there are also no prizes if you win, besides feeling awesome you did it and stuff like that!

The site has some forums and wonderful threads where you have everything from dares, to adopt-a-plot/character/name, to motivation to not give up. The forums are also big and tend to go down a bit because of the number of participants, which is good in a way.
But we always need a guild thread for this. I happen to be overly excited this year as I am going to write a story I have been thinking about for years now.
So here we can brainstorm, get excited, talk about ending it all and hitting delete and everything else YAY AYA YAYAYAYAYA!

Excited, but I so won't keep up. Haha.

I sometimes wish my English classes did this, that would be so exciting instead of doing an essay, write a story.

I have NEVER had a plot and have NEVER finished a story xd I wasnt planning on doing it this year but whatever, maybe I'll try it. I'll look at dares threads and stuff and see if something pops into my mind.

Buzz and I are dating, but I'm cheating on him with you.
And then drama drama drama.
It either ends with Buzz falling off a cliff or a threesome.

Somehow i have to oddly over prepare for this year and then ultimately fail to reach my goal and have the story die by the time it's half over. :]

Mid september I got a plot I'm insanely excited about writing. It needs a lot of work but it says a lot that I really want to say. It starts out almost autobiographical but it goes in a totally different direction. >w<
But yeah, I'm doing a pretty good job at outlining and pacing my outlining. I'm ready to write. >w<
Last year the only thing keeping me from 50k was NOT HAVING A PLOT. I loved my characters and I was motivated, I just had nothing to write about. So this year I have a plot and characters I love, nothing is keeping me from 50k!
but yeah, I guess this year is different because I'm writing a novel for more than just to put it out - it's a story I want to tell and there are things I want to communicate with it. So I'll be motivated to write it. :3

i suck at writing 50k words!
I see this every year, always thought it was cool and awesome, and never have a plot cross my mind. sweatdrop
I'll most likely be rooting for those of you who try from the sidelines. Go go!

I worked out the story I wanted to do laste year (which I never started lol), so I might try it again.
...but I'm in two fansub groups, two choruses, and have homework from school. I wonder if I'll find time?... sweatdrop
