Ehh, I saw it, but I have mixed feelings. It's way too fast, and confusing, I know it needed to be sped up, but it's almost in coherent. The first episode is especially confusing, too much going on at once. The second ep is a bit better, slightly less confusing. And Kagura's death was well done, albeit too short for the emotional impact to set it. What really irritates me that it's all out of order, I read the manga, and all the skipping around is really confusing.

The OP is nice, really pretty, and the music is good. The ED, I don't like it that much, the animation is pretty, but the music is bleh. I think they should have gone with BoA, or Ayumi Hamasaki, Every Little Thing, Utada, or Angela Aki. Wait the last two do music for Square Enix, never mind. Well "Kiss Me Goodbye" or "Hikari" would fit lyrically.

Overall the anime 7/10, because I like Inuyasha, if I never watched or read it before it would be 5/10.

I think that since they can only do 26 episodes that they are trying to fit in as much information before the final battle. I would just think that the events that happen away from Inuyasha and the group are happening while their events are going on. It's a lot less confusing when you do it that way.

Yeah, I know that but it's feels like their going about 1000 miles an hour in order to tell the story. And they're jumping from point A to point B to point C in a matter of minutes. That's not good story telling, imho. You let each character or group finish their scene or sequence, instead of jumping around so much. It streamlines the plot, and explains everything.

When several character and events converge let them flow naturally, don't cut to the character over there who has nothing to do with anything. I'm looking at you Kouga.

There are about a thousand ways that this could have been done, they just choose the most half assed manner to do it. I know the manga is slow, and it wouldn't hurt to speed thing up a bit, but this is too much.

I hate the Jap subs. I watches the entire series with the dubs. Are they making eps with the original dubs? WHEN??

I personally prefer subs, I guess because I used to watch fan subs, so that I could watch the first series faster. Adult swim took ages to come out with new episodes, back then (I remember it took six months for the new season.) I also like the Japanese voices better, I never really liked the English cast's performance, it was flat I guess. Except for Miroku's and Naraku's VA, he did a decent job. But Kagome's voice fails, it's too whiny for her personality.

I'm not saying I hate dubs, I love the English version of Final Fantasy XII, as much as I love the Japanese version. Both versions are amazing, in their own right. Vaan's English voice is better than his Japanese voice, but the opposite is true for Rasler. Balthier is teh sex in both versions, and so is Basch and Al-Cid.

yea i watch it on hulu...didnt adult swim remove all anime shows?

I hate the fact that they did that. I only really became an anime fan because Adult swim had all of the really good ones way back when. (I liked Inuyasha that best, but there was also Outlaw starCowboy BebopYu Yu HakushoTenchi)

I really do have to say though. Watching the Japanese version with English subs really throws me through a loop! I really like Jaken's Japanese voice actor a lot better then his American voice...no offense if you ever read this!

I also concur that they made the plot go by way to fast, in contrast with the rest of the anime anyway. otherwise I kinda liked it, if they had done the while series this way, I think it wouldn't have fallen out of the main stream before the end like it did. (for a while I and many others thought it ended after Kagome got her feet scorched by the stomach acid of a demon.)

I think it was better that I thought it ended as fan-fiction fodder. (I love reading other peoples ideas on how it could have gone...but now, now I know how it did go, and it ruins the imagination just a little!
