You want to know the secret to making a lot of gold in a short time? Two words: Booty Grab. Head to the main forums on Gaia Online, go to the "Gaia Aquarium" section, and click any link that says "Glowing" on the front page. Almost every tank there can get you about 1k+ per game.
I seriously make 20k in about 3 hours there. I swear to god.
