In one of my classes my teacher has a "hero of the day." This is someone he thinks is going above and beyond in the class and he recognizes them and tells everyone how awesome they are and why. It really encourages the class to give 110% so they might get the chance to be singled out for being awesome.
I thought this would be a cool thing to do in the guild. So whenever I feel like it (despite the title it will NOT be daily XD) I will choose a hero. My hero will be someone who is going out of their way to help the guild. An OUTSTANDING community member. Not only will they be MY hero, they should also be YOUR hero. And I would love if when I post my hero you all read it and look at what that person did and give them some thanks and appreciation for helping make your guild experience jollier biggrin You can thank them in this thread, send them a pm, profile comment, thank them on aim/twitter/skype, whatever. I also hope these heroes will inspire you to become a hero as well smile I'll put my heroes in the 2nd post bc they deserve a post all to themselves.
Could you imagine how awesome this guild could be if everyone was driven to be a guild hero? smile

Insom has been with this guild since the very beginning of time (DINOSAUR TIMES biggrin ). For the entire time she has been an active member. She has never left us, never harassed anyone, never has been rude or mean or has resorted to name calling. She has been on Kroo longer than anyone else. Insom has practically run this guild at times but has never gotten the recognition she really deserves.
Back when I was captain there was a point when I stopped caring enough to do my job. There was also a point where I decided to give up the guild. And between those two points was 2~3 months of you guys not having a captain. But did you ever notice the lack of someone in charge? No, because without being asked Insom stepped right up into the role. She took care of GM elections, making sure games ran smoothly, and making sure the guild was as happy as she could make it. I know Insom has a very full life, and lots of irl things to deal with, but still she makes sure she is there when the guild needs her and she never lets us down. If that doesnt make her a hero what does?
Then even after you got a new captain to be in charge Insom was STILL there. For the past 3 years she has been on kroo, taking all the drama thrown at her, doing the best she can even when people are hurtful about it. I have never seen anyone do as much for this guild as she has.

THIS is so cute!
I think I'm going to get MY Hero of the Day to post stuff! I'll make them create an account and have them say hi to everyone! It will be GRAND!
I tried reading what you said about Graphie... but Im not into the same kind of kink you are Nymphie, and my eyes fell out of my head. BUT IT BET IT WAS CUTE! <3

Buzz told me to post in here and tell Nymphiedora about how I like to pay for everyones movie tickets, and pay for everyones food, and make everyone around me feel amazing, and make my parents proud, and make the world a better place for everyone, and be a shining beacon of hope for the Universe, and feed and clothe the needy, and get straight As, and keep my room clean.
