The Abuser
by me
He finds you in the dark of night,
And watches while you sleep.
He knows you when you know him not.
The lion stalks the sheep.
"Edward, my life!
Edward, my friend!
I'd follow you around the world,
If you were not the end."
He keeps you locked in solitude.
The snake constricts its prey.
Demolish and deteriorate you.
So stay clear of his way!
"Edward, you can tear my skin!
Edward, break my bones!
Always in our happy end,
It is I you own."
He tells you how to run your life.
He takes away your friends.
And since he has no life himself,
It is yours he spends.
"He dazzles me in every way.
His marble-carved physique,
Golden eyes and smooth, pale skin.
He beckons in the weak."
Watch out for the dark, pale man,
His warm eyes and cold skin,
For if you're caught within his grip,
He'll eat you from within!

That's actually a neat poem. I like your imagery, which is a lot better than the other imagery used in Twifail. And the quotes actually add to the effect.
