Yeah. So turns out that I got hacked today. Three different sites. Granted, it's probably my own damn fault somehow for using the same password everywhere I go, but that's changed now. I don't know how the Hell they got my information OR who they are.
So what did the little ******** do? First he just messed with some one my personal information on Myspace and was sending cryptic messages to my girlfriend. Then when I was informed of this by her through Gaia, I changed the password, thinking that all was well. Hell no. The asswipe was logged into my Hotmail account, and had Myspace e-mail the new password to there. So from there he just keeps sending message back and forth to my girl, who KNEW it wasn't me, and posting obscene pictures of malformed and diseased bodily parts that I would rather not discuss, and basically making everything a living Hell; changing all of my passwords, deleting all of my stuff.
SUPPOSEDLY he went away now from having his fun, but I still don't know...I need to keep up on that password changing. But get this: out of everything that happened, I don't care about most of it. Honestly, I can go back in and fix almost everything he did. But the b*****d deleted everything in my Photobucket account, where ALL of the art that I had recieved for my main was. And it's not backed up after my hard drive died last time. GONE. EVERYTHING. I am SO ******** PISSED OFF.

Its not hacking if you accidently gave away your passwrod, which if you use on multiple sites its easy to do, (not always by writing it in a post or over msn, but sometimes by a fake site, passwords can also be gained through trojans which arnt to hard to creat and pass to people you know.
Anyway as long as the didnt your account here, and you gf knew it wasnt you
just change ALL your passwords and you should be safe
remebering the best passwords make no sense and use a combo of numbers and letters but not leet and pass diggers know those combos

And he came back. Yup. So I cancelled my Myspace (saved the 200 blogs there first, thank GOD...), and my Hotmail...I've since changed the password to my gmail and photobucket, and it doesn't look like they've gotten back into those. I had an idea for a password, and I think I'll go try it now...I'ma be all paranoid and s**t...changing it every week or something...

That really sucks, I hope you find the culprit one day and restore everything back to normal 3nodding . That happened to me too not long ago. I went on msn on my "friend's" laptop in june and he found out my password from this program on his computer and he was going through all my stuff and reading all my e-mails until october when I changed my password.
Soon after I had changed my password, I was talking to him about the new system on changing passwords and he decides to tell me he knew about my password and promised he didn't touch anything.
I found out the truth from a girl who was at his house and he showed her my e-mails! I hurt him shortly after twisted

Breaking news:
Several people have confirmed to GDW that the Myspace account appears to have been deleted. However, it has been suggested by a couple people that the culprit is possibly one individual who has resurfaced recently from GDW's past. This individual has been known for heartlessly screwing over GDW in the past, but claims to have gone through a transformation of sorts into a new person. In any case, it was only AFTER this person found GDW on Myspace that the "attack" occurred.
As an attempt to possibly bait and set up the perpetrator, GDW has created a new Hotmail account and e-mailed the old Hotmail account for two reasons. First, to see if it is indeed still there. It would seem that it is, for the e-mail was not returned as unable to be sent. Second, the e-mail was disguised as a response to a letter initially sent by the real GDW informing that person that a hacking had occurred. With any luck, the individual will pretend to be GDW and the plan can go from there.
Now...how should I do this? I mean...when and if they write back, what do you think I should do next to A) find out who it really is, and B) get back at the slimy b*****d? Because if it IS this girl...I want her to pay. A lot. Whoever did this raped my account, and I want them punished.

I have really odd passwords that no one can guess because they're at least 13 characters long (numbers and letters, all memorized but written on paper, just in case). If someone does guess my passwords or find them, I think he/she should be entitled to the rewards therein, unless it's me email. And your email got eaten, so you should have a friend email the account and get in on this. Like this:
"It's terrible that someone stole your MySpace! And I bet I know who it is: [[insert name here]]. She's always bothered me. Blah, blah, blah... Annoying stuff... Insults about this person... So, if you find anything out, let me know. Did anything else get taken? I'm emailing you because I don't know when you'd get home and I wanted to talk. Don't forget to tell me what else happened. "
See, that's what I'd do, but with more detail. But you can't do that unless you make another email. And it'll only work if you know that person is actually using that account. If you don't want another email, ask someone else to try for you, or completely ignore this idea. mrgreen

Well, I'm lucky enough not to have anyone in my life that would want to do this type of thing to me. If someone tried they could easily destroy my internet life... once they get my password at least. But that's obscure and I have three or four diffrent passwords I disperse between various sites and accounts.
Today I had a mini-heart attack when gaia wouldn't let me onto my mule becasue the password was wrong... this is my storage mule I was trying to get to that had 65k and like 10 donation letters from various months this year, and a bunch of event items from the last few years.... that would be a nitemare for me seeing as I don't care about much else on the internet but gaia.
As for how to get back at this person... I don't know... if you can figure out what time the person get's on your accounts you could contact the admins ov the various web sites and ask them to do an IP ban on the person who was on whatever account at that time. It may not be granted by the admins, but if it is that would kick much a**. Because the person wouldn't be able to use any of those sites ever again.... but most big sites my not be keen on the idea *shrug* big places stink like that...
Also if you know the person you suspect in real life you could try having someone try to get "friendly" with them and thus wheedle out the truth... but hey, I'm not sure you'd bee keen on that kind of trickery.
Well, now that I've posted a giant have fun plotting revenge.

Well, so far the person who stole away my Hotmail account has not e-mailed the dummy account back...so they may have abandoned it entirely.
And there IS one individual who I would almost guess did it...but she's such a huge liar (or at least were in the past) that she probably wouldn't tell anyone anything. But I don't know...maybe. The biggest problem there is that she's supposedly out of state, traveling, and I don't know of anyone that I know that she doesn't know I know already who I could get to become friendly with her. Was that a full sentence?
I may have to give the whole thing up. Phooey...
