Virtues:
Clever -- Grendel likes to think before he lunges into action (looking at you, Obsidian), and he's become quite the strategist become of it. Most of his brilliance is focused on keeping himself and any other Negaverse agents alive, so it's really more survival-instinct than book smarts.

Patient -- The upside of being lazy; Grendel has no issue in waiting for things, whether it's an opportunity or something more basic, like food. With patience comes tolerance, and he can deal with almost anything without getting ruffled too badly (he does work with Nealite on a daily basis, after all).

Deceptive -- He'll weave whatever lie you'd like to hear if it means getting something he wants or staying alive. He thinks for himself and only for himself, and has gotten quite good at manipulating others to get whatever he wants. He doesn't want much, thankfully, but he'll shamelessly allow people to underestimate him and his abilities so he can try to pull their strings.

Flaws:
Lazy -- Why be useful when he could simply sleep the day away? Personal comfort always comes first for this cat, and it's not unlikely to find him sleeping on the job. Not even the will of the Negaverse can rush him to do his job any faster, unless it's Charonite snarling at the back of his neck like a rabid dog.

Uncooperative -- For being a Guardian Cat, Grendel is awfully apathetic about the battle between Senshi and Negaverse.

Deceptive -- Though Grendel is harmless enough, it's impossible to tell what he's thinking, or what he'll do next. Is he lying to you just to get his way, or does he truly want to help? This unpredictability makes it a struggle to nail down his true intentions, and he has no interest in forming close bonds because of it.

Abilities:
*Can sense when a person is an awakened Negaverse lieutenant, and know their rank and title.
*When a Negaverse character is in danger, can pinpoint their exact location.
*Can change to a human at will, but is more vulnerable to attack when in human form.
*Stronger Claws & Teeth, Retractable Claws as human. -- Negaverse Side Only

Ursula Johnson: Ugh. A narcissistic, worthless excuse for a lieutenant. Still, I'm compelled to obey and help her... when I please. A knock upside the head or two might do her some real good--but I won't let any real harm come to her. A love-hate relationship at best. Emphasis on the hate.

Dale Spencer (name unknown): Just an ordinary human I briefly indulged in while scouting for potential lieutenants, for once. A kind girl, gives good scratches, but ultimately unimportant.
