Name: Jackson Parker
Nicknames: Skip, a nickname given to him by his grandpa. No one refers to him as Jackson, unless it’s going through roll call or his mother yelling at him.
Age: 18
Birthday: August 7th
Sign: Leo
Blood Type: B+
Fav. Food: Steak with Grilled Mushrooms & Onions with Mashed Potatoes
Hated Food: Rice and Tofu
School: Meadowview High School
Hobbies: Batter Up! – Ah, the great American pastime! Skip has been playing baseball ever since he could remember. His first memories of it, in fact, are playing catch with his dad on the front lawn and going to professional games with his grandpa as a child. Basically, Skip eats, sleeps and breathes the sport. He’s the pitcher for Meadowview at school, and is also the team’s captain.
Rockin’ Robin – Known to only a select few, Skip is an avid bird-watcher. This is a hobby that he picked up from his grandpa, who is an ornithologist by trade. Every weekend, grandfather and grandson go out and practice this beloved hobby. Skip always makes a point to do this, as it allows him to spend quality time with his grandpa; something he finds to be very important. It’s also an activity that allows him to step back and take a break, without having to deal with all of the stresses of city life.
Origami – Contrary to what his friends might say, folding paper is a highly respectable art form! At least, in Skip’s eyes. Whenever he has had a bad day or is stressed, lonely or upset, Skip finds himself doing origami. This is something he can do in the comfort of his room in solitude when he just wants to get away. It’s something he’s quite good at, too. Skip can make a variety of different shapes, ranging from animals, to flowers, and articles of clothing. His biggest accomplishment with this hobby, and the thing he is most proud of, is his senbazuru – his thousand origami cranes. They are strung up in a place of honor in his room next to his bed.
Gemstone: Peridot
Virtues: Playful – Skip knows how to have a good time, and he loves it! Life is never a dull moment with him around, and he seems to make even the dullest of things into something enjoyable. If you’re looking for something to do, just come find Skip and you’ll be set!
Unifying – “We’re all in this toge-..” Seriously, though, being divided is no fun. Skip hates to see people fighting against one another. Because of this, whenever he sees people who aren’t getting along or if he senses a tense air, he will do his best to bring them together. This young man is well-known for his pep-talks and getting people motivated! Coming together and working as a team is what it’s all about, you know?
Resilient – Fall down seven times, stand up eight. Everyone has a bad day sooner or later; that’s just a fact of life. Life can be stressful or hectic, but somehow Skip always seems to get back up. No matter how many times he is knocked-down or struggling, he always does his best to push through and get over it. Life is too short to give up on. Flaws: Trouble-maker – Even though Skip sees something as playful or funny doesn’t mean that everyone else does. Unfortunately, he has a penchant for causing trouble. Not that he does it on purpose, of course! All of the things that he does – are in good fun. For example, how was he supposed to know that singing his questions out loud to the class whenever the teacher called on him was distracting?
Impatient – Skip has very little patience. In fact, the only thing he can really sit still for are his bird-watching sessions with his grandfather. If something doesn’t go right for him the first time, the boy gets really frustrated. This isn’t a good thing, either, because when he is frustrated, he often snaps at those around him. Best to be careful around him, lest he looses his cool.
Sore Loser – In Skip’s eyes if he isn’t winning then it isn’t fun. He hates, hates, hates to lose! Say his baseball team, heaven forbid, loses a game. Skip will be all over-dramatic about it, complaining about all the horrible calls that were made and how crappy everyone else was but him. He will then proceed to brood over the thing for hours, not dropping the subject until someone agrees with him or gives him a good smack on the head.
Physical Description:
Hair: Skip takes pride in his hair. Naturally wavy, it is cut in a casual shag with long layers all over. It is white in color with navy blue (#002868 ) & dark red (#BF0A30) streaks throughout. [Reference]
Eyes: Evenly-spaced, dark red (#BF0A30) eyes!
Face: Slender, diamond-shaped face
Body: Since Skip is into baseball, he likes to keep in shape. He is tall for his age, and stands around 5’10”. His legs are also long and strengthened from baseball practice.
Fashion: Outside of school, Skip’s sense of fashion is very preppy. He loves to wear slacks, button-up shirts, and blazers. There are also a variety of polo shirts, sweaters and vests in his closet. For accessories, he enjoys mixing different coats and scarves together. He also has a particular fetish for sunglasses and shoes.

Family Father Name: Jack Parker Age: 45 Birthday: April 2nd Sign: Aries Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: White with Red & Blue Streaks Personality: Jack Parker, Skip's father, is the most stern within the family. Unfortunately, as his son got older, he became a bit of a workaholic. Most of Jack's time is spent at his office or out on the job. Although he loves his son very much, Skip's father gets annoyed by the fact that he is spoiled by his grandfather. The boy should no longer be doted upon in his eyes, as he feels it's time for Skip to step up and get ready to become an independent adult soon. Short Bio: Jack Parker works as a lawyer within Destiny City. Most of his time is spent at his office now, with very little time at home. He is usually only home in the late evenings and on the weekends. It didn't used to be this way. When Skip was growing up, Jack did everything in order to spend time with his son. Their favorite pastime was to play catch out in the yard. However, when Skip entered middle school, his dad's attitude changed. He started to shy away from his son more, and became more serious about his job. Jack isn't all that supportive when it comes to his son's dream of becoming a professional baseball player. He feels that Skip should aim for a more stable career than a pro sports star, like a lawyer or a pharmacist.
Mother Name: Evelyn Parker Age: 42 Birthday: January 13th Sign: Capricorn Eye Color: Red Hair Color: Blue Personality: Mrs. Evelyn Parker is a kind woman; one of the kindest you will meet. She loves and cares for her family dearly, and will do whatever she has to in order to take care of them. Evelyn is rarely known for getting mad, but when she does, it is best to watch out. She gets quite the temper when she is angered, and doesn't stand for people disobeying her. Short Bio: Skip's mother is currently a homemaker. Before her son was born, Evelyn was actually a middle school teacher. Once Skip came into the world, though, that was all put aside. She wanted to be able to spend time taking care of her son. Evelyn's favorite thing to do is baking, and her dishes are famous throughout the Parker household. Skip's mother is also very supportive of her son's dream to be in pro baseball. She wants him to do whatever he is passionate about.
Grandfather Name: Fritz Parker Age: 72 Birthday: May 26th Sign: Gemini Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: White with Faded Red & Blue Streaks Personality: Fritz Parker seems to be a rather eccentric old man, but he is well-respected within the community, nevertheless. He is a very loving and has been known to show favoritism toward Skip, who is his favorite grandson. He dotes upon the boy, much to the annoyance of Skip's father. Short Bio: Skip's grandfather is a plucky old man in his early seventies. An avid ornithologist by trade, Fritz's favorite thing to do is go out and go bird-watching, a hobby that he coincidentally got his grandson into as well. Fritz also took Skip to his very first professional baseball game, which sparked the love of the sport in him. The last and most important thing Fritz is known for is giving Skip his nickname. When Jackson was a little boy, he had a tendency to skip around a lot instead of walking. Seeing this, his grandfather started referring to him by the name "Skip", and it stuck. Everyone, with the exception of a few people, calls him that now - even Jackson, himself, prefers it that way.
Grandmother Name: Agatha Parker Age: 72 Birthday: September 4th Sign: Virgo Eye Color: Light Blue Hair Color: White Personality: Agatha Parker, or Gran Gran as she as known as in the Parker household, is a sweet elderly woman. Unfortunately, she has a bit of a short memory, so thinks tend to go in one year and out the other with her. She is also a bit hard-of-hearing, so whenever one wants to talk to her, they have to speak up. Gran Gran is actually one of the rare few who is able to get away with calling Skip by his first name. Her grandson doesn't mind this; in fact, he likes being called Jackson by his grandma. Short Bio: Since Agatha is getting up there in age, she now currently lives with her husband Fritz in her son Jack's household. They have been living there for a good ten years now, in order to be closer to Skip and his parents. A former artist noted for her pottery and glass-blowing skills, Agatha has long since retired. She was actually the one who showed Jackson how to do origami, and she taught him everything he knows.
Dog Name: Babe Age: 3 Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Gender: Male Birthday: February 2nd Eye Color: Black Fur Color: Blenheim (red & white) Personality: Babe is the most loyal dog there is. He is happy-go-lucky and loves to spend time with Skip. As a matter of fact, Skip's parents and grandparents often joke about Babe being Skip's own, personal guard-dog. This dog, although happy with a joy of playing, is actually rather quiet. He rarely barks, except at strangers or those he considers a threat to Skip. Short Bio: At three years old, Babe was welcomed into the Parker family when Skip was fifteen years old. He was given to Skip as a birthday present after the boy expressed to his parents that he was old enough to now take care of his own pet. Once he received his birthday present, Skip dubbed the puppy Babe after Paul Bunyan's infamous blue ox. The tall tales of Paul Bunyan and Babe were Skip's favorite growing up, and the name just seemed to suit his dog. Babe is currently still living within the Parker home. Every day, he and Skip go for walks after school, and at least once over the weekend the two make a special trip to go play fetch in the park.

Friends & Enemies Friends Aurora Namid - This is the Crystal Academy girl who almost stepped on me near the hot dog stand. Contrary to popular belief about girls from Crystal hating Meadowview students, she is really nice. I asked her, before we parted ways, if she wanted to come with me to the park over the weekend, and she said yes! I hope we will remain good friends.
Enemies None yet! Will be added once Skip interacts with people.
