Wiccan - A Wiccan is a member of the Pagan-Revivalist religion known as Wicca. Can be a male or female practitioner or lay-follower, either solitarily (on their own) or members of a Coven (group).
Wicca - Wicca is an earth based religion in which a person normally worships a god and goddess. Some cast spell which are simaliar to Christian prayer. There is no one path. All follow the Wiccan Law: "Harm none, do what ye will."

Im not wiccan but i do have several wiccan friends, and i think its an amazing religion and if anyone at my school starts to insult etc wicca then im jumping down there throats within moments rofl

Wiccans are always insulted...I lost a friend a while back because I'm a wiccan and she's a christian....she doesn't like me now because of my religion.

thats stupid, you dont discard youre friends becuase of there religion you learn to acept them for it
i have 1 wiccan friend, three christians, 1 hindu and the rest of my friends are athiest, and yet none of us have faught each other ovr it and were all best friends basically
people on attack wiccans becuase its difrent and people dont know much about except all the crap they hear from there parents and priests who say that polythiests are evil and we take part in evil rites etc (or as they are known to call us ....... pagans, which used to mean an uncivilized person who lived in the countryside, how it came to mean what its now used for i have no idea)

moon_the_angel_of_hell Wiccans are always insulted...I lost a friend a while back because I'm a wiccan and she's a christian....she doesn't like me now because of my religion. Yeah she wont talk to either one of us anymore....T^T i didnt du anything tu her v.v ....

I myself have found a path that suits me well. I do have to agree that alot of intalerence has been done to the wiccan religion and that's sad. Wiccan's are good people and deserve to be recognized as such. If a friend discards you because of your religion, then they weren't a friend in the first place, a friend should be someone who excepts you no matter who you are.

It's very sad, such a peaceful religion is stereotyped to be so bad. I hate that Wiccans get horrid reps because of the term "spell" and "magick" and "witch"
*sigh* if only people would realize that Wiccans are not wart-covered green ladies that dump rat tails into boiling cauldrons and fly on broomsticks with hissing black cats
It's almost as sad as the stereotyping Satanism with Devil-Worshipping
people piss me off...
but my thoughts on wicca. I think it's a very neat, peaceful religion. I tinkered into it a bit when I was younger and trying to find the faith for me... but I had an ignorant person leading me into it and made it seem trivial and stupid at the time. He was one of those "A religion that teaches magick!!! COOL! I CAN DO SPELLS AFTER I READ A BOOK"... needless to say, I'm no longer of the faith; but my sister-in-law is, and she gives me a lot of insight into it.
I like the teachings.

Everyone in my family are major christians....and when I told my aunt about me being a wiccan...she quickly said...you need to stop doing that and start going to church more. well, they say this because their doctrine says that anyone not of the christian faith, not accepting of jesus christ and all that good stuff will go to hell... so they're saying it because they're worried about your eternal soul... however, I believe that if Gandhi and Buddha who lived their lives so peacefully and honestly did not get accepted into heaven, then there is no point in even wanting to be accepted. Very good men get declined while awful men who beat their children, rape their wives, and drink alcohol til their blue in the face get accepted because they are christian. no thanx... I'll gladly go to hell and chill with Buddha and Gandhi. as they say:: "Go to heaven for the comfort, go to hell for the company"
