Of course they are. Stephanie Meyer needs to cash in on everything she's done.

How could I see this coming from everyone's favourite cash-in "author"?

Quote: If you've never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It's such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? *head desk* I've never heard of that movie, but if she thinks it's "character driven", it's probably terrible. At least she's not touching any of the Doctor Who writers. I'd cry if she did.

I actually...thought that The Host was quite an improvement in her writing..Still no Willa Cather, but I'm not against it. The book wasn't bad, so I don't see why I can't check out the movie..*shot* I'm actually happy for S. Meyer that she's improving from her Mormon wet dream teenage-vampire s**t and branching off to the awesomeness of sci-fi...

Now Twitards are going to think that by watching it they'll be sci-fi and biology masters and post crappy fanfiction about it. I bet Meyer doesn't even know that Gattaca is a DNA sequence.

Meyer took an overdone idea with Host while trying to appeal to adults. (It's obvious she knows nothing about the sci-fi genre because the situation in Host has been done in countless movies and books, it's basically another "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" remake with a PG rated love triangle) She does absolutely no development on theme only focuses on the love triangle, but yes, it was written better then Twatlight (I think she bought a thresaurus) but is it worth the time or money? ******** no.
Should it be made into a movie? No, because the only reason it's being made into a movie is because it's written by Meyer.
I seriously doubt it will be executed well.
I'd rather go watch that fake movie about the Alaska abductions xd
I might see it on a movie-hop, but in no way am I paying.
I am pissed now evil Twitards are going to pretend they like sci-fi. cry

K, don't bag on the Gattaca, that was an amazing movie, one of my favorites, actually. Meyer can keep her paws away from it though. The creators of that story actually had a brain and worthwhile message that wasn't "surrender yourself to be with a man even if he's a closet abuser and stalks you."
Gattaca = or > WIN...
The Host = Aw Hell nah.
Whatever. I'm hardly surprised. Meyer is like the Vampire fad she started; Everyone is trying to get on the bandwagon before the river runs dry and everyone figures out she's not that great.
