I'm obsessed...well not that much with the pokemon manga special series! In my opinion, way better than the anime. If anyone here reads them, which series did you like the best? Red/Green/Blue, Yellow, Gold/Crystal/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, LeafGreen/FireRed, Diamond/Pearl, and then i think it was Platinum?
My favorite is probably Ruby/Sapphire and LeafGreen/FireRed. R/S because of ruby and sapphire..*hint*
LG/FR because of the action! mrgreen

I like too much of it and I can't try to pick one. ;.;
For some reason, FRLG made me squee, at least with the one scene towards the end before they all became stone statues.
And I can't read much of the DPPt because friggin' online sources are like "******** YOU YOU ONLY GET THE FIRST CHAPTER/UP UNTIL THE POKEMON ARE EVOLVING FOR THE FIRST TIME".
But Dia's awesome.
So's Sapphire. [And I thought her relationship with Ruby is so cute~ >w<]
And omg the ending of the yellow arc when they're all going back to wherever and Yellow has the string of fate tied to Red [Which then sucks for Misty].
And GSC just rocked, but I think that's just because it was based on GSC.
Sapp is my fav. character/Pokefemale. She's just so out there. But Plat's little "I did no such thing like laughing" makes me lol. And the growing smaller and smaller mini gags between Pearl and Dia.

I've been reading Pokemon Special and got a few chapters into the GSC arc when it cut off... Anyone got a site that has the rest?

Well, I must say I very much like Pokemon Special. It's a lot darker than the anime in quite a few respects. I remember the Pokemon Tower chapter, I was like: "Dude, did they just kill off Arbok?" XD

My favorite book had to be Yellow just because of the giant mystery surrounding it. It lived up to the hype... at least a lot more than other plot twists...

Still, isn't Yellow supposed to be like, 5? How does she know the word genocide? What are they teaching in Viridian Elementary School? Shameful...

I have read Yellow's epic showdown with Lance of the Elite Four at least three times in my life.

It ALWAYS moves me. Every single time. It reminds me of, growing up, what I thought pokemon was Really About, capital letters and everything. To this day, I'll randomly release pokemon if it feels like they 'want to be' free, or if I know I'll never train them.

I'm still truckin' through the G/S/C series (but I loved R/B/Y - particularly Red and Green the most) through means of Youtube, but I'm really excited to get past this one (or least to where the story picks up; Gold is sorta weird. XD) and on to R/S!

id have to say silver from g/s/c because he always retains that badass aura about him even if he does get all soft,mushy,lovey-dovey,and other fagish words at the end of fr/lg
