I'm not saying that my parents read Twilight (thank god my parents read Dan Brown's books) but sometimes when I go out, I see someone's mom reading Twilight. When I look at what they are reading, I think they are being brainwashed by their daughters who don't understand what is good literature. I have no idea why a mom would like reading about *****. So I have a question, do your parents read Twilight? Do they like it? If so, how do you feel about it?

Mom. She read all the books OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. Then when that Douche Patterson dude came up, she got OBSESSED. Dad would just sit with a blank look. It's so awkward to be seeing these things, because she assumes that Edward is 'perfect'. Not only that, seeing her read that and trying to seem my age is just so effing stupid.

My mother only reads science fiction, same goes for my father, I've only ever seen him hold a book once, though.
So, no, my parents don't read Twilight. And luckily neither does my grandmother, she reads the trashiest of romance novels and yet she told me she wouldn't touch Twilight if it were the last book on the planet.

Eh, my grandpa rarely reads and grandpa never does. My dad likes to once in a while read fantasy books, but he laughs at the Twilight series probably, because he read Anne Rice...same with my granddad. lol

 【Julie Says://】
Neither of my parents read Twilight My dad's a slow reader but I usually point out good books for him/he reads stuff like Star Wars and such. And Stephen King biggrin
My mom didn't graduate high school, she never reads books for whatever reason.
My cousins though, the ones I looked up to as other forms of parents have apparently. My closest girl cousin is like in love with the books and named her dog Bella My other cousin didn't want to read it because she's dyslexic but she didn't bother to listen to it either on audio book(she saw the movie and laughed her butt off about it) >>; My ooooother girl cousin likes the books but she's not crazy obsessed(as far as I've seen) I just hope my cousins down south haven't gotten hooked because they're 13 and below D: So their little minds are so malleable right now

I wouldn't let my parents read Twilight unless I was very, very sure that they were just reading it to relate to more kids my age or see how sexist it is or something. My parents read Dan Brown, though. What makes this different from your parents reading Dan Brown is I was just arguing with my mom about how much I hated Dan Brown. Same with Dean Koontz; I feel like they're writing for a standardized test. But they're both undoubtedly much, much better than Twilight.

My parents would die before reading Twilight, but I'm really glad about that. It's just the matter of my sister.....who's (unfortunately) obsessed with the horrible series.

I'm glad my parents don't read it. I would rather my children read the bible than Twilight.

Nope. Dad really doesn't read, but Mom reads Dan Brown or Wicked or the Secret. I would rip my mom a new one if she did.
Boyfriend's mom reads Harry Potter, so I love chatting to her about it.

Princess Julia Of Heart My closest girl cousin is like in love with the books and named her dog Bella LOL. My mom is scared of horror books. Twilight is pretty horrifying.
