My favorite word. But that is beside the point.

I've discovered the joys of Flickr. I even got a "pro" account so I can have unlimited amounts of pictures there all organized the way I like.

Lots of fireworks at the beginning because summer is the season for fireworks it seems.

In the last month or two I haven't been doing photography due to lacking a computer to cram my pictures onto.

My laptop died if I didn't tell you :/

Anyway I should be doing more photography in the next few weeks because my case manager is assigning me photography homework effectively.

My current assignment is to go to someone's house and take pictures of their animals, 5 pictures. Family friend's houses not random strangers. My next appointment is Wednesday so today is my last chance to get them done before time is up. So I guess I am going to Lynn's farm today. Expect pictures of cashmere goats.

Anywhoo. My favorite firework pictures this year are a tie between two, this one which everyone says looks like laser lights at a concert:

Those are all pretty cool.

I haven't been doing much picture taking since it got colder, but I was thinking of doing a "photoshoot" with my ferret some time, probably tonight or tomorrow. She is getting a bath tomorrow so I could get some pictures of her after bath antics xD

Ferrits are cool, Mooky is our Nature Center ferrit. He is good in classes, but we also let him run around in the NC when we are doing feeding. He is crazy, but in a good way.

There are a few new pictures of my chinchilla on flickr.

I got some new treats for him recently and stuck one of each on the bed and let him decide which ones he wanted.

He went for the dried fruits(apple and papaya). Makes me glad the pieces were so small otherwise it would have been much too much sugar for him.

I got the Bandit bacon and raisin treats and I gotta say the raisin ones smell like dog ear wax > 3> The ferret doesn't seem to like them much either, but she'll eat the bacon ones.

I've found that she(the ferret) really likes the berry yogurt chips I originally got for my chinchilla(who hated them but not likes them). I only give her one like once a week, but on ferret.com they sell yogies treats for ferrets which are yogurt drops that are either peanut or raisin flavored. So I assume from that site selling them that a small amount of yogurt chips won't hurt her. I've never read anything about them harming ferrets either when I look for ferret health articles.

The site I got my chinchilla treats from was www.Chinworld.com they have some good prices compared to say petco/petsmart and other pet stores but their selection isn't as good as I'd like it to be. also there is www.lonestarchinchilla.com I think its the address, which I have not ordered from, but they have sample sizes of all their chinchilla treats so you can see if your chin likes them before you buy a bigger bag of them.

I'm planning on ordering a harness and leash for Sloane and done n-bone treats from ferret.com. I kind of also want to get ferret food from them since they have better quality ferret food than I can find locally and for like half the price of getting the same foods from pet stores. But then there is shipping costs which would add up quickly when buying ferret food.

And I am totally rambilng x 3x

Thanks for all the info, though I dont really control the diet we feed the animals at the nature center. Sadly budget for treats and things are short too, so most food treats I "stole (with permission)" From the camp kitchen (And that was only fruit and veges since I knew they are the only things safe from there for animals).

Sadly yesterday was my last day at that camp as well.

But now starts a great new chapter. Me heading to Vegas, to be with Vegas.

Though I may work at the camp again in the spring depending how things go.
