I realized after observing the gross picture where Edward takes of his shirt and becomes Mr. ShirtlessSparklepants  and the pictures of Jacob with his douchebag tribal tattoo OMFG THE WEREWOLVES DONT HAVE BODYHAIR AND EDWARD IS A ******** HAIRY BEAST WTF!!!! ???? scream Seriously the tattoos are ******** gay as hell

But really, when you think "werewolf" you think fuzzy. When you think "vampire" you think cold and dead, hence bare skin.

And as for the body hair, that's ******** gross. Jacob should at least have SOME hair. What a *****. (No offense to gays. heart )

 I've heard of vampires having more hair, but I always pictured it on their arms for some reason... maybe because arm hair isn't as noticeable. They should have made him blond. Then the hair wouldn't be as noticeable whether it was on his stomach or not.

I think depending on what you study (like me and Vampires: The Masquerade) Vampires come from all walks of life.
One group called the Gangrel are the most animalistic group around. They are close to their inner beast and when they frenzy, they'll gain an animal trait of some sorts. It could be extreme calico cat fur to a bat ears to cow utters to gills. Just depends on what the character depends on more and see where it goes from there.
I think Jacob should be a bit more fuzzy though.
Hell, Sam from True Blood is a shifter and he's fuzzy!

ha ya if i was ganna cast some guy as a wearwolf he'll need somebody hair, and eddy really should shave (then again more guys should shave more then their beards, thats one reason why i like swimmers)

hmm...for vampires, I guess it all depends on what folklore/ myth you prefer. I tend to think the vamp's body would be kinda like when he was alive; if he was a hairy dude in life, he'd be a hairy vampie. Unless when you turn into a vampire you loose your body hair? (but thenwouldn't vampies be bald?)
But werewolves= wolves have thick furry pelts, ergo werewolf= even as a human I think they'd have more than average body hair, or at least be fairly hairy. I like my werewolves to have some wolf/ animal inclinations- like better sense of smell even as a human, a taste for raw/ red meat like steaks, even as a human, and following that line of thought, more body hair.
Unless there's some weird breed/ type of werewolf that's hairless? You know, like those hairless cats? (I haven't heard of any hairless dogs, let along hairless wolves, though...) Well, I suppose if vampires can sparkle (hmm....maybe the hair is what holds the sparkles on?) then weres can be bald.
