Personality: A tough and often obnoxious female, Spectra doesn't take crap from anyone. She'll stand up for herself against wolves twice her size and claims that she doesn't care about anyone or anything. Sometimes she'll even start trouble on purpose just to amuse herself or to feel the adrenaline rush. Spectra is also very intelligent and often it doesn't take much explaining for her to understand something. Instead of using her knowledge to help others however, she likes to use it to outsmart other wolves for personal gain. Though she usually covers it up by bragging or teasing others, Spectra is actually a very sweet female on the inside. Life as a loner has made her prone to hiding her true feelings, and a bit reluctant to trust others. If one manages to gain her trust, they will find a loyal friend who would protect them at all costs.
Background: As a pure wolf Spectra hasn't had any contact with the shadow-walkers, but she believes that her family was taken by them. She was born into a very small group of pure wolves that had heard stories of the shadow-walkers and kept moving to avoid them. One day when she was very young, they left her behind in a makeshift den while her parents and siblings went out to hunt because she was not feeling very well. When they never returned to retrieve her she assumed the worst. To this day Spectra never stays in one place for long as a precaution.
The gear around her neck has always been with her. Spectra believes it was given to her when she was born.
Familiar: Nyx
Species: Bat
Personality: Unlike Spectra, Nyx's feelings are much easier to read. She is very expressive even though she cannot talk, and shows what she is thinking through gestures and various squeaks and chatters. She is also very friendly, landing and clinging onto anyone that she likes. But Nyx can sometimes have a bad temper. If she gets cranky she will readily show it.

Personality: Jasper is a wolf with two sides. With family and friends he is almost puppy-like and very loving, though he likes to tease his sisters sometimes. He can also be quite affectionate, liking to snuggle up to others. However, when he meets someone new when a friend or a family member is not around, he can sometimes come off as cold or aloof until he decides he can trust the stranger. He likes meeting new wolves, so it doesn't usually take long for him to open up as long as the stranger is friendly too. Most of the time Jasper does not like to fight and does not stand up for himself, but if someone he cares about is threatened, he won't hesitate to get involved. Sometimes anger can drive him to extremes that he would normally never reach.
Background: After carrying Jasper and his sisters, his mother Spectra left him in the care of Loopy, his father. Though his mother was rarely around Jasper became quite close to both of his parents. He is still just beginning to wander farther and farther away from his family.
Familiar: Spook
Species: Tarantula
Personality: Jasper's tarantula Spook can often be seen clinging to him somewhere. He remains rather motionless and at times he is forgotten about, so when he darts out of nowhere he can have a very startling effect on others. He isn't a particularly trusting creature and tends to hide from strangers. If he is disturbed too much by someone he doesn't like, he will rear up and flash his fangs threateningly before skittering away. For his friend's sake he wouldn't bite anyone without a very good reason, but it's hard to tell.

Personality: Petrar's mind snapped during experimentation. Her wild mood swings are one of the many signs that show she is now very unstable. One minute she could be smiling, happy, and seem completely normal; the next she might be on a crazy rant, or in an insane, unstoppable rage. She really doesn't care about anyone else or what they think of her. Petrar also has an abnormal love for pain. She likes to hurt innocents just to hear them cry. She even enjoys her OWN pain, giggling as she is being hurt when others might be screaming. Petrar rarely inflicts fatal wounds however, unless she is in one of her bouts of insane anger. She prefers to keep victims alive in order to toy with them.
Background: Petrar was born into a very small group of pure wolves, along with her sister Spectra. They always kept moving to avoid anywhere the shadow-walkers had been sighted. One morning they took Petrar on a hunting trip, leaving Spectra behind in a den because she wasn't feeling well. The group was captured, including Petrar, and taken away.
Petrar doesn't remember much from her treatment, except for a few blurred images and the memory of pain. Her appearance had been altered from it, as well as she had been given a necklace with a little spider charm. She does not understand the significance of it, nor does she care.
