I try to read my Bible every day. Though it's only around a chapter or so. I would like to read more. Lately though, I haven't been as consistent as I once was. sweatdrop I need to work on that.

Once a day for the past few years, only missed a day on very rare occasions.

I try to read every day, at about a book a week (I mean, Matthew, that's 28 chapters ... 4 a day), subject to variation (Psalms takes three weeks, Jude takes ... two minutes, so I lump everything from James to Jude together for one week).
I confess, though, "try" is the operative word, there. sweatdrop More often than not, I end up reading every other day, instead. Once, I was as regular as clockwork, but now, more like a broken clock.

Do you associate your reading time with your quiet times? Or are they separate for you?

I don't really have "quiet time". I have time when I'm least likely to be bothered, but that's it. And prayer comes right after Bible reading, so ... yeah, they're together. But I can pray without having read, of course.

I recently joined a Life Journalling group in my church and so have been reading my Bible much more often than I once did. I really feel like I'm getting a lot out of both reading and then thinking about what I've read.

I try to read it everyday because it's important to read and meditate on the word. I sometimes forget to read tho or pray for that matter...

I used to read it cover to cover 2-3 times a year. Circumstances have changed and I no longer have the time or ability to read it like that. Now I read until God says something to me through the Word. (like something I need applied to my life or circumstances). I cant say I read X amount of versus or Scripture because usually read the Bible as if it has none of those. And Bible time for me is always combined with prayer.

I try to read my Bible every night. My Bible has reading plans in the back, and I've also been reading the New Testament. I'm currently at 2 Timothy, and my reading plan is dealing with the Psalms. The next one will be Proverbs and then that's it for the reading plans.

I try to read my NKJV Bible every day. I have a reading plan, kinda through the year thing. I like it... of course there are days where I can't concentrate and have to catch up on readings.
