ok, a question has been raised about pictures for the RP so let me clear it up. I prefer a picture, as in a photo of a person, because this is an advanced literate RP, and a large part of it will be describing your character. If you need help finding a picture, or if you found one and say, the eye color isn't what you want, I'll change it for you. ^_^
Another thing I want to make clear is Lycanthropy in the RP. Obviously, by the histories given by the approved characters, it is not passed from person to person like an infection, it is much closer to shapeshifting with a twist. It is a genetic mutation that is triggered in times of high stress, if the body is in danger, or even if a certain element (say, Iron) is in too much abundance in the bloodstream. etc, I'll be PMing you all back soon, but first I have class @_@ lol. ok, so Blackthorn's coming along great, thanks to all who've joined it! ^_^ More characters are on the way, and the advanced literacy of many of you is coming along great as well~ With that in mind, know that you may bring in a new character at ANY TIME. Blackthorn is always accepting, and Alistair is always looking for new students~ The characters I've seen are great, and there's some interesting conflicts and romances beginning to blossom <3. I'm so happy!

*ahem* anyways, be sure to tell your friends who are literate RPer's if they'd like to take a look at joining. The more students, the better. ^_^

Now, to address a few things so you can see them here and not have to sort through the front page again. I'll be giving a short synopsis of the RP every several pages so new members can keep up with the storyline and we can keep it straight as well, since everyone's characters interact with different and ever-changing groups.

Also, with regards to WHERE Blackthorn is, this is a little tricky. It is what we call the continent of North America, in an area in the wooded and sometimes mountainous Northwest (Think the area spanning Oregon, Idaho, Eastern Washington, Western Montana, Northern Wyoming-that general (and very large) area). HOWEVER, I left the history of this "Nation/Continent" open so you could create a character with a less, how do I say, predetermined (by me) background. Remember to think Steampunk. It may be "America" but it sure as hell isn't the America we know. So far, I think it would be good if we go by regions (Northwest, South etc) NOT states for origins on the continent. Countries across the pond (or South America) work fine.

Also, as for the time period, Blackthorn was founded in 1728. The Hunts (mass extinction hunts targeting wolves led by groups, factions and leaders all over the world, occurred through almost the 1750s. This makes the current year approximately 1927. Cars like Fraya's exist, but there are no planes. No phones. No computers. Guns suck. Got it? Any more specific questions, post them here, and I'll answer~

If you'd like to collaborate with me (and possibly others) to create a definitive timeline of this Universe, that'd be uber helpful biggrin .

On a side note, how are you liking it? Picking classes, roommates and dorms is coming soon!

Your character history, description, even her car still fit into the alternate timeline, so don't worry about redoing/changing it~
I'm really sorry I forgot to mention it sooner D: When I opened Blackthorn, it was after several weeks of not working on it and I thought I caught everything *fail*
