YAY!

I was reminded as I walked into target today that halloween is drawing ever-closer, with less then 2 months left until my favourite holiday of the year.

I think we should get a head start on the discussion of possible themes for this years gaia halloween-fest. I just put my gaia costume together today, to avoid the price-rise that happens every year at halloween time on all items with a pumpkin and/or bat on them.

So I was wondering how my fellow GiB-ers plan on dressing up this year, both on and off gaia.

I should probably start sewing my halloween costume, actually.

anyways, discuss away!

All I will do on Halloween is play video games and if anyone comes, give them candy.

I would love to dress up, but I don't have time to go make or buy a costume. I am soooo happy it's on a Saturday his year though. That way my mom can come and visit and I can actually do stuff instead of just staying in the dorm. The town I'm in is basically Halloween Town when it gets to October.

In the GCD, some one came up with the idea of ghosts this year for the event, which would be interesting.

@ frogger: just sift through your closet and find something weird that you rarely wear.

I plan on trick-or-treating this year. Who cares if I'm a highschooler? I love free sugar.
I bought these black-and-white striped leggings, so i'm probably going to sew a black and orange tu-tu and maybe make a bustier to go along with it. I need to buy more fabric, though....
If I have free time I want to make an autumn glory. A real-life version of the scarf wouldn't be to difficult.

EDIT- and I think I'm going to make my coon tail black and orange instead of black and pink so it can be more festive. biggrin

Yeah, no! I will not nor will I ever drink any alcohol and also I am a high schooler. It is illegal for me to get drunk.

Hmmmm~
I'll go trick-or-treating if I can get my friends to come with me.
If not, I'll be hanging out with my friends.
Watching scary movies.
Maybe working on our costumes for the only other time of year we get to dress up and act like idiots, Anime Boston.

I wont go trick or treating at all because there will be less candy. And I can't really go to a party cause my mom probably will, and I will be the only one home. I also don't have a car nor a Driver's License so I can't drive to a party that I get invited to.

And I fixed my typo. I didn't realize I typed a double negative.

I know. My dad was a b***h and when he went down to Texas he took the Camry just because my Great-Grandma wanted my bro to have it even though he crashes every car he drives! I was pissed as hell cause my sister in Texas gets her own transportation and I either need to get a ride from someone else or walk to school.

ginji- do it anyways. It's free candy and if you wear a mask nobody will know who you are. biggrin

and I finally made the final design for my costume! yay!

I'm not planning on dressing up for Halloween this year since the French don't really celebrate it. I'm sure we'll party on our own, though.
