Now one thing I absolutely HATE about Amuto fans is how they bash Tadase constantly and call him Tadagay. Let me remind you something:
Seriously people, can you get any more immature? He's just a DAMN anime character. Stop bashing him for the love of freaking god.
I'm sorry that offends people but I HAD to let it out. Give it up. He's an anime character. PEACH-PIT decides whether he takes Amu or not. Not us. So freaking deal with it.

Okay...
First off, you should say "the majority of Amuto fans." I am a fan of Amuto myself, and I don't call Tadase Tadagay. (But on occasion I call him Princess...)
And people will bash him if they want. Like you said, he's just a DAMN anime character. He can't really give a damn.
Just because he's an anime character doesn't mean people can't hate him. People hate characters in sitcoms, cartoons (they are different from anime, FYI), plays... the like.
And, if you didn't notice, a lot of Shugo Chara! fans are indeed children, (okay, not children, but tweens and such) and will say what they like. So will teens and adults.
Don't you remember freedom of speech? You have it, I have it, they have it. (Yeah, sure, come back at me saying "I have the right, too." I already stated it.)
You should just give it up. They aren't gonna stop. You should just deal with it as well.
(And anyway, haven't you seen the newest manga chapters?)
By the way, you're a Tadase fan, aren't you? That's just a simple question.

I don't think she needs to say "the majority" since overall, the amuto fanbase has set this immature behavior to it's average characteristic. But that's just me I guess.
While they may be able to bash certain characters, it's still common courtesy to respect others including fictional characters. While Tadase may not care, his fans will, and thus will feel offended or hurt by the much unneeded slurs towards him. If a tween or child or any fan for that matter, act in a very immature way, then they should be told it is wrong. Even freedom of speech has it's limits, and they should be followed. Sure, the bashing probably won't stop, but that doesn't mean it can't be helped.
I am sick about all this bashing too, and I am not even a big Tadase fan.
