Hey I'm part of defenders of wildlife and I have been following up on a thing that is in Idaho. The Government in Idaho has issued 220 wolves to be slaughtered in any way shape or form.

What is your View on this?
Specially us Wolf therians.

I signed the petition to help protect those wolves. Its messed up to the max for even trying to threaten one when they now finally become endangered its like start killing. There is only 1,000 Wolves in that area and if you issue 70,000 legal permits to kill them....Well you will end up killing them off if you think about it. Either way it is still messed up! I know the population is big....but I don't think humans have the right to tell the wolves they must die.

Freya of the Mistwolves: Thing is the government in Idaho I just found out is wanting to kill off all wolves. Montana might joing Idaho and allow wolf slaughters in their area.

What is with all the mass wolf killings!?

I mean, there isn't any mass lion or tiger killings. And do you know why? Because the government classifies them as animals that are not to be killed. 'Endangered.' But this needless slaughter of the wolves will just thrust them onto that very same list again, teetering on the brink of extinction in that area. And we can't win every time.

And I have a feeling that this will continue until they finally do disappear. It's a clean way for the government to make it look like they are helping the animals, while in fact, they are only prolonging the profit for the butchers and poachers.

It sickens me.
