Yeah, critters can't be skinned anymore. That was how I got my LWs up at the beginning too, skinning critters and turning the scraps into Light Leather.

Deer, sheep, cows, hares, rabbits... None of them are skinnable anymore. I don't think you ever got exp from them, though.

I haven't tried to skin a critter since my first toon! I didn't know what I was doing though, I snuck on my fiancees account while he was at work and made a toon =P
But definitely fail if it's true.. why even bother with changing that? confused

I used to like skinning sheep, they sometims gave me wool. =(
This is one f the sillies things Bliz has ever done. And they've done a lot of them over the years...

thats what i always do when im from lvl 1-7 after that i stop skinning them but oh well im just gonna have to do some real skinning work

Yea, I think he was thinking you meant like, lvl xp, as opposed to lvls in skinning. You got xp in skinning, but not xp towards leveling your character up.

never really bothered to skin critters so not much changed for me i always accidentaly kill critters though when they come by me on my 80 when i pop out divinestorm

This is what I always figured. As you progress through levels you hit harder and as you hit a rabbit you split the skin therefore leaving it unskinnable
