Welcome to The Filing Cabinet (v.3)! Our esteemed care-taker (in his absence, bless him) has given me the key to his office. Well, I decided to re-organize his cabinet for him so that the students will be able to use it with a bit more convenience. Now this isn't information that we go around shouting about, unless it's necessary. Below each of the House Ghosts have posted with the most recent House posting list. That will tell you where you stand in terms of posts. Keep in mind that the Heads of House will post lists monthly, so if you're looking for a particular month's list, just back-track through the pages, starting with the last page. Where do you stand in terms of banishment? Well after the House Ghosts' posts, you will find two more lists. If your name is not on the Inactivity nor the Danger list: that's good news. The next post is a must read for everyone!! It will tell you everything you need to know about the banning process.

The Banning Process: Plain and Simple
Unless you have become an Honorary Member (or Graduate) you are expected to post! Our posting requirement is fairly simple: five posts a month (that's only five minutes of your time!). For our newest members (house-elves) there are stricter guidelines. Inactivity will get you banned!
For House-Elves (with more than five posts):
After one month: a Warning PM from the Head Elf (or a designated member) will be sent out informing the member to post at least five more times. After two months: If the house-elf fails to meet the post requirement and/or is not excused from inactivity, the Head Elf (or designated member) will send out a final PM warning. Once the second PM is sent, the house elf will be on the DANGER! list. For Sorted Students:
After one month: you will be informed of certain options. The Head of House (or designated member) will contact you via PM. After two months: you will be placed on the Inactivity list if you have not replied to your Head of House and still fail to meet the five post requirement. After three months: you will be placed on the DANGER! list. Your Head of House (or designated member) will inform you of this as well.
Anyone on the DANGER! list is subject to be banned at any time.
If you have your PMs set to Friends Only and your Head of House cannot contact you...that is not our fault! You are still expected to post. The PM is only sent out as a courtesy.

DANGER! People on this list are in danger of being banned. Rest assured the Heads (or someone) has contacted them (via PMs) previously about this. The names are in alphabetical order. **Guild bannings are typically done at the end of Spring and Fall Term.

Inactive
The following people have been declared inactive. No one (except Graduates and Honorary Members*) should ever be on this list longer than two months. These people are not excused from bannings; in fact they are one step away from being banned. Anyone who has posted (and been approved) in the Student Message Board should NOT be on this list. Heads of House will contact these members with the following PM:
Warning PM Dear [Insert House],
It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that you have not been fulfilling the posting requirements needed to stay in our guild. There are a couple options you can take to avoid banishment:
1. Achieve the 5 post-per-month requirement by the end of [insert deadline].
2. Post in our Student Message Board or just reply to this PM, and let me know you will be inactive. This will automatically excuse you from the banning process.
If I do not see a response to this warning by [insert date], you will be officially banned from the guild. However, please note that this is only a temporary ban, so if you haven't read this letter before the ban date, or you decide you changed your mind and want to come back after the ban, I would be more than happy to invite you back and put you back in the student year where you left off.
I hope to see you again soon.
Sincerely, Head of House name here Insert Guild position Harry Potter Guild of Gaia

Commonly Asked Questions (with Answers)
Hey! I'm on the DANGER/Inactivity list but I just posted! What do I do? A: You wait. If you just posted you have to give a moderator time to take your name off. If a few days pass and you are still on the list, simply PM your Head of House.
I was recently banned or quit and now I rejoined. Do I have to begin my post totals completely over? A: No, you don't. Luckily we have the lists, and your Head of House can easily add your last number of posts to the current list. PM your Head of House for more information.
How do I get off the Danger/Inactivity lists? A: Again, all you have to do is post the requirement and wait. If someone doesn't remove your name after a few days, simply PM a moderator.
Um... my name is on the Danger/Inactivity list, and it shouldn't be there! Why did you put my name on there? A: It could be a mistake. We're human (with wizard powers, but still). If that's the case PM a moderator about it. Your name could also be there because you made a name-change, but didn't post it in the Student Message Board.
