Hi. I am not only new to this guild, but I am a new owner. I bought my baby girl this past Saturday and so far things are great. Her namr is Iggy and she is 2 months old! I am absolutly in love! So far our bonding is going smoothly, and I have found that her favorite food is corn, but she hates papaya. Er, there's not much else I can think of, but I joined this Guild in hopes of help and suggestions so I can raise the healthiest and happiest Suggie I can!

Congrats and welcome to the guild! We are little but, well, so are suggies, right?! mrgreen
My first suggestion would be to be VERY cautious with that leash. Sugar Gliders are very unpredictable little critters, even the super bonded ones and in a nervous moment might jump and choke. I have seen it happen with those harness ones (and yes, I am just as guilty as you... I used to own one years ago). Gliders will leap to fly and the harness will tear their patagium (gliding membrane! YIKES! NOT WORTH IT!
Gratefully, I threw my harness away before such a thing happened to mine, but I have seen gliders permanently injured because of them. Better to work on bonding and just not go anywhere they would be in danger IF they got away until they ARE super bonded.
