My favorite type of books is the fiction genre. I don't like autobiographies and romance (unless the romace has action in it). As long as there is action in the book, I'll read it. The only out of character book I've read in a long time is Luna. That's about a transgendered teen and his/her sister. I actually liked it.
I have so many favorite books, but my favorites would have to be (in no particular order...: Kingdom Keepers Series Vampire Academy Series Maximum Ride Series Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series Unwind Breaking Dawn (I suffered through the rest of them, but I liked this one) Mason Strange Angels Full Tilt Peter and the Starcatchers Series
So many more but I cant remember everyone off my head

Boy-Howdy, I just have to say I'm no fan of the Twilight series. I'm a fan of the original vampires, not vampires that sparkle. I la-la-LOVE George Orwell's 1984, though. And Beowulf. I kind of have a thing for burly vikings. C: Also, most people didn't enjoy it, but I really love Homer's The Odyssey. Also enjoy folklore, usually Norse.

Folklore and myths are fun to read, although the ones that come in poetic verses may be hard to dissect~ ^^
I like all kinds of genres, as long as they keep me interested. I had to read Death in Venice in high school, and it just amuses me that the main character struggled with his problems the entire book then suddenly died because he ate strawberries and it was The End. xP

I love reading. I'm happy reading just about anything. I personally love Stephen King's writing. Ann Rice is a fantastic writer as well. Recently I've been reading a lot of Alice Hoffman's writing as well. I adore her book Green Angel. It's one of my favorites

One of my favorites (and one of the few books I actually own) is Death Note: Another Note - The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. It's based on a manga, but whatever. It has an ingenious plot, and totally tricks the reader (yes, it's mystery). It's a great book, and serves as a background story to a part of the original manga that was only touched upon.

My favourites are sci-fi and fantasy books. My favourite author is Terry Prachett and I really love the Discworld series. I read a lot of books. I've even read the Twilight series, though I honestly can't stand them, just to see what the fuss is about.
At the moment I'm reading And Another Thing. It's a continuation of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy but written by a different author. So far I'm not completely won over but we shall see...

I like a lot of books. Mainly Fantasy and things like that. Right now I'm really into the vampire books. The weird thing is, I don't really like Vampires. Anyway, I'd have to say that my favorite vampire book is the Blue Bloods series. Most vampires don't have a background on how they came to be in the book, blue bloods does and it's actually very interesting. Oh, and has anyone read Vampire academy?? Is it any good??

Hands Down, the Thrawn Trilogy of Star Wars books by Tim Z. They are so amazing, they focus on war, philosophy, morality, and even art. It touches all the grounds that a story should, sci-fi or not.

Let's see. I think my favorite books right now are The Catcher in the Rye by Sallinger and The Stranger by Camus. I like realistic fiction with characters that are truly believable. Holden Caulfield is very engaging and endearing in his jaded ways, and Meursault is charming in his bluntness. I also enjoy escaping into Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Other vampire stories I like are the Trinity Blood light novels. These are vampires I understand. Anne Rice makes it all make sense, and Sunao Yoshida gave interesting scientific explanations for everything, which made his stories very original and fascinating. It's very sad that he passed before he could finish his series.

I love a lot of books, but I just haven't found that single favorite yet. I'm interested in most genres, with the exception of maybe two? Not sure.

I like a lot of different genres. But, my favorite book is defanitly Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. Even though the illistration of the Cheshire Cat creeps me out a little.
I absolutely loathe Twilight, so I have no idea why I own every book in that stupid series. Um.. I used to like the American Girl books... but most of the writers are pretty terrible.
I'm currently reading Japanese Inn, which is the story of a real family that owned an inn in Japan since I think it was 300 AD, or something. It tells the history of Japan from then up til now.
