Simple question.

Is it watashi wa or watash ha/boku wa or boku ha?

I get confused because some sites I see wa, whereas others I see ha

Because it seems to be your first time here, I will first say there is a sticky for these sorts of things. Please use that instead of making new topics for these sorts of questions.

Secondly, this is a rather hotly contended thing within the Japanese student community. The general and unchanging rule is that it's pronounced as wa and written with the hiragana for ha.

Oops, a thousand apologies. Thanks for the info, will definitely look up those sticky topics!

In general, when I'm writing in romaji, I'll use "wa" since that's how it's pronounced, but you ALWAYS write it as は when writing in kana. A lot of people will use "ha" in romaji because they're just typing as if they were using their Japanese input. (This also leads to seeing odd things like "xtu" at times!)
