So there's this new show called "Vampire Diaries" coming to Canada, and -sorry if this is old news- it looks pretty tacky.
The girl in the promo is just like Bella-Sue in New Moon, except instead of being emo and locked up in her room like a good chick, she attacks the audience by telling us how much "love bites" and so much angsty crap that fanfiction authors puke.
It's probably the hair, but the angsty chick looks JUST LIKE Mary-Sue.
Also, I was watching Much Music (like MTV, Canadian-style), which I don't normally do, but I was waiting for Video on Trial to begin. They have a trailer of Twilight, and Jacob is telling Mary-Sue to stop riding her motercyle-thing when she CRASHES AND FALLS OFF. I started laughing so much I nearly choked. I dunno if I'll be able to watch this movie in theaters without getting kicked out. XD
Discuss.

I'm being dragged by some Twitard friends to see that horrible piece of tripe, aka New Moon. >< However, I fear, I too, shall be kicked out for LMAO. Unless I fall asleep again, like I did during the first one, and got elbowed rather harshly in the gut for whilst being told, "OMG, how can you sleep when Edward's on the screen?"
To be on topic- Vampire Diaries...Vamps are being done to death. True Blood on HBO, based off the Sookie Stackhouse books, isn't too too bad. I can at least read and watch it without being thoroughly appalled. Maybe this vamp diaries won't be so bad?

Thankfully, none of my friends would ever dream of inviting me to Twilight. I want to drive by and yell spoilers before it starts.

Yes, vampires are done to death. Emo is done to death. What suburban, upper middle class twelve year olds consider goth is done to death.
Does Canadian MTV play music? If it does, it's not MTV.
If somebody made me go to the New Moon premiere, I'd dress up as The Riddler or a Clone Trooper.

Sounds like bad fanfiction to me.
Also, I have decided that the Sookie Stackhouse series is also a load of bull. I heard that there's a "telepathic" human waitress who can't read her vampire BF's mind. Sorry, but that just reeks of Twifail.
Also, HumanXVampire relationships are impossible, overdone, and cliche. I basically don't like anything that has that kind of 'relationship' in it.

The Sookie Stackhouse series isn't that bad. At least the author can write, and its amusing if you're looking for a no-thinking read. However, in general the plots are rather predictable. If you haven't read/ seen it, you really can't compare the two.
Human X Vampire relationships can be done well and interesting, it all depends upon the writer. Its done to death, which makes it cliche, etc- I've read awesome vampre/ human stories, but they aren't for the faint of heart or for homophobes. (as to cause no confusion, I'm not calling anyone either of those things. I'm stating who those stories would most likely offend)

I basically don't like anything that has that kind of 'relationship' in it. First of all, Sookie is actually okay. The books are good because even though Sookie is a whiny Mary-Sue whore that has random sex with supernaturals and then complaining about how men that devote their lives to her treat her so badly, it's got a good plot. And if you don't like it, at least you'll like the fact that the b***h nearly gets killed over 22 times in the first 5-and-a-half books. It's pretty funny when the character everyone loved, Debbie, tries to blow her brains out with a shotgun. True Blood, on the other hand, violently raped the book series. Alan Ball can't write, in my opinion. I didn't like Sopranos that much, American Beauty was okay at best, and True Blood? EUCH. Also, Jerba, I'm cosplaying as Dr. Frank. N. Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I'm gonna write a book about a vampirexhuman relationship that will be two pages long. She will think she can get him then he eats her. And says "99% these things don't work. You are not the 1% exception."

Illustrated Indignity Oh, I read about that somewhere. It sounds ******** awful. A probable copy of Twatlight, but with more emo. It goes something like this: Emo chick: Dear Diary Mood: Apathetic My life is just a black abyss. XXXXXXXXXX666XXXXXXXXXXXX Love bites. It can make you feel good, or it can *insert overlly long, two minutes of verbose-chan for "make you feel bad."*

Oh God, it's worse than I imagined:
Mary-Sue "protagonist" is pretty and popular and has two vampires fighting for her affactions. And she died, becomes a vampire and has superhuman powers.
FUUCK.

FUUCK. .....no wonder I've taken to watching old, cheesy vampire movies. If you're looking for something where vampires act like vampires and don't fall in love and all that other garbage, here's a few old ones I've watched. "Bram Stoker's Dracula (seen it soo many times, but its a classic)", "The Vampire Lovers" (based off of Carmilla), and "Vampire Circus". Cheesy cheesy but the stupid bitches die in them, like they should.
