Matcha (抹茶, pronounced [matːɕa]) is a variety of finely-powdered green tea. Matcha Uji means "froth of liquid jade" and the cultural activity called the Japanese tea ceremony centers around the preparation, serving, and drinking of matcha. In modern times, matcha has also come to be used to flavor and dye foods such as mochi and soba noodles, green tea ice cream and a variety of wagashi (Japanese confectionery).
The azuki bean (アズキ, formerly spelled adzuki or aduki) is an annual vine widely grown throughout East Asia and the Himalayas for its small (approximately 5 mm) bean. The cultivates most familiar in north-east Asia have a uniform red color, but white, black, gray and variously mottled varieties are also known. Scientists presume Vigna angularis var. nipponensis is the progenitor. Genetic evidence indicates that the azuki bean was first domesticated in the Himalayas. It was cultivated in China and Korea before 1000 BC. It was later taken to Japan, where it is now the second most popular legume after the soybean.

About Maggie  Age: 27 1/2 (Yup, she still counts half years!)

Clothing style: Anything goes. She's a cosplayer. When she's not in costume, skirts, pretty shirts, etc. She likes vintage, of the 20's/30's/40's styles with modern type twists. She's also a bit of a fashionista.
Extra: Mag just has far too much time on her hands. She loves to make costumes from her favorite characters, and even more she enjoys wearing them around. Her other hobby is dressing up OTHER people, the first victim is normally her boyfriend, Hank. She is often around Imbri and is her polar opposite. She's got the attention span of a goldfish, is rather irresponsible and laughs easily.
Biography: Maggie's life hasn't been very extraordinary. At an early age, she discovered a love of sewing, and started to make crazy costumes that she would wear around. She quickly moved on to dressing up her family and friends (and now currently, her boyfriend). She has since settled down in Gaia, and has set up a costume shop, her house attached off a back extension. The shop itself seems to have picked up some mysterious and magical qualities itself, as it added a pink room when Maggie brought home the strange cookie.
Personality: Maggie is quite aloof. She often doesn't know what's going on in the world around her, as she's lost in her own place. Her most clear moments are often in the store. She's also quite silly and child-like.
Likes: Dressing up, dressing up others, swinging in the playground, cooking and sewing
