I have been going crazy over Japanese music recently. I haven't listened to a full english song in such a long time!!!! I'm actually listening to UVERworld right now... sweatdrop
my favorite groups are:
Gackt
Hyde
UVERworld
Nightmare
Morning Musume
Cheico Kawabe
etc
I also tend to fangirl over a lot of the Vocaloid songs, like Love is War and Joker...
If anyone knows what I'm talking about, or if you know a good Japanese band (or any other foreign band. I personally like a Korean band called Super Junior) then POST!!! lol 4laugh

I've seen Mucc and D'espairsRay play live before, but those are the only j-rock bands I've seen play a show.
I really like Vocaloid songs too. Alice of Human Sacrifice is my favorite

What I like and what those I talk to about music from Japan like are two completely different things, unfortunately. I don't know many people who listen to the kind of stuff I do, and it's depressing that they're depriving themselves. sad

But jun from TERRA is solo now..
Oh~! And the girl who does the Kingdom Hearts themes.. I forgot her name..
If you play Dance Dance Revolution, you could find a LOT of J-Pop tunes.

BoA, Mika Nakashima, of course GackT, Hyde, etc. Um...I like some older groups like W (those two were so cute!), Do as Infinity (sad they're not a group anymore), what else...? I like a lot of Jrock/Jpop bands/singers actually...
As for vocaloids, omg I listen to so much of their stuff. I'm still trying to figure out which duet pair I prefer, but so far one of my favorite songs are Magnet (I like so many renditions of this), and Imitation Black (Gakupo, Kaito, Len).
