 Discuss all things about the Kuroshitsuji anime here. This includes but is not limited to, characters that only appeared in the anime, the plotline, possible theories for what the new season will be like. That's right, a second season of Kuroshitsuji has been green lit! I believe it should be out around January 2010, that's only a few months all. Best get prepared. ; )
Anime News Network Junichi Suwabe, the voice actor of the Undertaker character in the anime adaptation of Yana Toboso's Kuroshitsuji manga, has revealed in a Sunday blog entry that a second season has been green-lit. Suwabe and the other Kuroshitsuji cast members had just finished their appearance at the "Sono Shitsuji, Shūshō ~Saigo no Bansan o Anata to Tomo ni~" event to mark the end of the first season. The first season ran from October of last year until this past March.

Yep, think it got pushed back. D: So it will be out in the Winter season of television, January sometime. Plus we have to wait for a fansub group to actually pick it up. gonk

Gah! *goes off to hang self 'Grell' style* No fair! I'm not all too worries about a group picking it up, Kuro has a pretty large fanbase going by now, but man...It's going to be hard waiting week by week for each new episoded instead of getting to watch the whole thing at once like with the original series XD

Ooo, thanks, I'll have a look at that! Fanfics are so much fun!
Apparently, as reliable as rumors are, since the arm that Sebastian lost was the one that had the mark of the contract on it the contract is thus null and void. So he's unable to take Ciel's soul. Buuuut, there have also been rumors about him becoming a human for the, or at least part of the, second season...Which I sorely hope doesn't happen. I can approve the whole arm thing considering the ending was pretty damn definite and the company needs some way to keep it going and make their money...And it is legit, you'd just think that Sebastian was stronger than to have to worry about keeping a tattoo around to steal a soul, but rules are rules. But the whole human thing, *shakes head* I don't see it and don't want to see it happen.

When I read your post, Zel, I thought it said "Satan deserves purple" haha.
Anyway, only half of the contract was lost. The other half is written on Ciel's eye. Therefore, we can speculate that the part that was lost on Sebastian's hand somehow changes what happens with their situation. IF rumors are to be trusted.
EDIT: Okay I forgot, with the new chapter 36 being posted, when it it posted, I think there is going to be a sneak peak of what might be in the second season! biggrin

Rumors? BAH. I'm just waiting for the 18th of every month. That's when a
new Kuro chapter comes out & I squeal over it whenever spacecat uploads
her scans.

Yes. moon_maiden36 has a lot of great fanfics on LJ. TBH, LiveJournal has the
best fanfic authors I've ever seen. When I read the fic, I was crying form laughter for hours after I'd read the last word. xD
