Wow, I hadn't updated this in ages....uhm....I still RP and love to do it, I'm trying to write a proper book though ^-^ I think I can do it, but I'm afraid I don't have much confidence so that gets in the way. I'll get over it though, worse challenges than having to buff yourself up a bit, huh? I imagine learning to knock down pride would be harder!

I'm no longer pre-med, I've finally been conquering my depression and I don't want to spend the majority of my life studying and locked into four white walls. I want to meet people, talk to people, and help them learn how to communicate! I never got to talk, I still rarely do, so the power of speech or written word, the ability to transmit ideas...it's a wondrous thing and as silly as it may be the idea gets shivers going down my spine! And...tears in my eyes I now realize, like the way thinking of Japan does.

I still plan to go over there, I'll have my degrees and I would like to teach English (possibly even French!) in a high school setting, maybe even University if I can do well! I'm no fool, I know being a foreigner in Japan is no picnic and I'm not going for wide-eyed anime girls or the strangest new fashion. I'm going because it's a calling it's...it isn't even something that can be explained. I don't know how spiritual I am or if this is 'spiritual' in that way or not, it's just an odd connection, it feels as if it's going to be the right fit. 'Right' never means 'easy', but I'm looking forward to every single challenge and every person I meet.

One day I'd like to be a citizen, probably the most farfetched part of my dreams. A country I've never been to, who isn't exactly welcoming of anyone other than themselves, a language I don't even speak yet! But the strangest or craziest dreams are the best and in my opinion I need some wilder ones.
