Shinigami
--Name: Anbu, Shinsei
--Age: Appearance of 28, true age not counted.
--Squad: Eleven (Combat Specialists)
--Physical Description: [x] Finding himself a bit vertically challenged compared to others (Through self-consciousness than actual height, as he stands at a borderline 5' 11"), Shinsei finds ways to distinguish himself all the same through is interesting style of attire. While his body does seem the type to be carried off in the breeze, he has a bit of a lean physique underneath the semi-loose fitting clothing he wears about. While not boasting any real muscle, his main muscle focus is within his powerful legs while the rest of his figure remains that of a basic teenage build. A fair complexion(though sometimes dirtied a bit) with brown eyes that seem to take on a bit of a golden tint due to his contacts, his black hair is dyed dark blue simply because he had the opportunity. He doesn't miss a beat and isn't afraid to dress a bit haphazardly if it means getting around that much sooner, so he carries that look as if one to be a diamond in the rough.
--Personality: Bold and resolute as he can be in the heat of the moment, he'll lose himself pretty easily in music and can be a bit of a 'backseat driver' more so than the upfront order giving type when calm. With a bit of a complex as to 'right and wrong' when it comes to acting a certain way, he has a genuine quality about him that allows one to discern his true motives are purer than he'll give credit for. For those who are close to him, he's a bit more relaxed than his outward appearance would hint towards, but he can easily be riled up. The slightest change that affects his 'status quo' can cause him to become defensive and inverted, but will do his best to never show himself to be as weak as he may feel. He can be as socially awkward or as empathetic as the situation requires, but once you get him really started, it's harder than it looks to shut him up.
--Bio: Shinsei was born, as all people who once lived, through the conception of a mother and father whom must have loved one another at some point in order to conceive him. Unfortunately, the people whom conceived him didn't show much love for him as they must have for one another as he hadn't a single memory of them from his youth aside from the scars going down his back from when he was apparently abused before child services stepped in one day while he was hospitalized as a child. Although, as much as that should have turned a normal case into an angsty, destructively depressing child; Shinsei seemed to simply shrug it off as his memories of those people faded and the first real memory he could ever recollect was that of being in a hospital room. There was no near death experience that left him seeing spirits, there was only a seven-year-old boy with a vacant stare in his eyes whom only wished to be alive and nothing more.
He was soon adopted after a relatively short amount of time, practically leaving with his foster family straight out of the hospital, working perfectly in filling the gaps in his memory to assume these people were his biological family. His remnant memories plagued him occasionally in his dreams, but were shrugged off as nothing more than mere nightmare as his new parents did all they could to give him a normal and decent life. So it came to pass that Shinsei integrated well into their family, soon everyone seemed to forget that he wasn't biologically related and he became accepted as a member of the rest and even went on to lead a normal life. He grew up an average student, not particularly active in sports, but not unfamiliar with how to run a field while playing with friends; he was a bit of a social butterfly, and that's part of where he drew his strength, from his ability to adapt to people and matriculate into and out of a situation with ease.
Unfortunately, people like that are usually cut down in their prime before their light can fully mature, and as such was the case for one Shinsei Anbu. Despite his never remembering them, his would-be parents hadn't forgotten about him and had sought him out after several years as Shinsei had matured into a well-rounded individual fresh out of college and taking his own steps into the world as an independent. A week before that incident, Shinsei received a letter from his parents asking him to make peace with them after over twenty years, hoping that had been enough time for any possible bad blood to dissipate. In an attempt at good will, he agreed reluctantly and within a few days, the preparations were complete for his road trip to visit his original family; unfortunately, it would turn out that Shinsei wouldn't make it out of town...
The night before Shinsei was to depart, his neighbors in an apartment adjacent his threw a large party and while people were engaged in the throws of celebration, there was an incident. While Shinsei was walking home from a late night of working, one of the party goers was leaving the party after a late night of drinking. From there on, the story essentially tells itself: The driver was highly intoxicated and passed out at the wheel and the car went out of control. In an instant, Shinsei found himself laid out in the grassy lawn of another neighbor's lawn, but while he awoke in the lawn...his first sight was that of his own body mangled and pinned between the wreckage of a car and the damage it'd done to the brick wall of the neighbor's home. An anti-climactic way to go out, but an effective one it was...Shinsei was trapped, a wandering soul doomed to slowly corrode until nothing was left. At least, that's how his descent into misery went with each passing day and night he went as the world seemingly passed him by.
It had been a month since his death, but every moment he spent wandering the earth, the more he grew to resent the people carrying on around him as if their lives were so perfect. He began to see how they treated themselves with little regard and seemed to take their own existences for granted, an easy thing to overlook, but not for someone who'd lost all he had in an instant at the hands of a moron who had one too many to drink. He felt himself begin to waste away as each moment brought him closer and closer to his soul's end...but as he began to give in to his helplessness, a figure clothed in black came to him. Unaware of what had occurred, he felt a pressure and then an incredible weight lift off of his shoulders and in a moment he was engulfed in light....In an instant he'd lost his life, and in another, he'd been reborn...it seemed as though Shinsei's entire existence was catering to the theme of 'rebirth'...

Zanpakuto (Under development)
--Name: Fukibamaru
--Sealed Appearance: Essentially a normal Katana with an 'X' shaped guard. The hilt is indigo with indigo diamond patters tracing up and down the side and a black chain connecting to the base which attaches to a fang-like charm. The blade is a bit longer than an normal katana and Shinsei must sheathe the blade on his back rather than at his hip due to this, or more so out of preference.
--Sealed Ability: Fukibamaru, while still sealed, vibrates with the energy that channels through it, causing a rending effect rather than cuts cleanly to make injuries worse than by means of a standard cut. This is caused due to the natural vibrations which afflicts the blade when it comes in contact with another firm object and clashes. The kinetic energy is stored and released by utilizing Shinsei's reiaitsu as a catalyst.
