Alright, here's a general aquarium section. When getting fish for your tank do you think it's best to go for variety, or many of the same kind?
It seems it's up to the users themselves, but I'm curious if it really makes much difference in the long run.
I tend to keep mine as a variety, as I like to get new ones and there's just some that I love seeing in my tank. (It's sad when they die, so I put the same one in and name them the same thing.)
Thanks for stopping by.

I enjoy having a variety as well. I don't have anything against the tanks with all the same fish, I just happen to like quite a few different ones.

It's almost a shame to keep to one type, when there's so many different types of fish to choose from, not to mention they introduce new ones all the time. I don't mind seeing many of the same fish swimming around, while at the same time we have 17 slots, which is enough for many of the same, and variety.
To each his own. =D

I guess one of the pluses to having all the same fish is that it's easier to keep the all happy. Though I like my variety in my tank as well :3
I'm kinda getting tired of seeing all meat tanks sweatdrop I mean, I like grabbing from them sure, but still, there's just so many of them.

As far as the happiness goes in my tank, I think the only fish I've been having trouble getting a heart above him is my Narwhal.
I will agree with not liking the tanks entirely filled with watermeat, though I must confess I would love to add at least a few more to mine.

I like variety but it seems like the most requested & profitable tanks are pure. crying Although recently I have seen some awesome variety tank games. So maybe we will be seeing more great variety tank threads soon.

I like variety, but every time I get a glow on my tank I never get 2 of the same fish glowing and my scores come in low.
I might invest in decorating some more after questing a reve roulille and then going pure.
