Distinguishing Features;
♠ Small Deer Ears: These don't seem to concern Elle much, although he hasn't really gotten the hang of brushing around them when he does his hair yet. That usually results in him yelling at them or crying or making some kind of ruckus, so I have to do it after he's failed. Lucky for us, hair care isn't the highest priority, so...
♠ Deer Legs: Elle seems almost proud off his furred legs, and takes much more care brushing them than his head hair. Then again, a lot more stuff get caught in his leg-fur, so that makes some sense.
♠ Hooved Feet: I personally like those little hooves, since that means I don't have to worry about getting Ellery shoes. He likes them too, but mostly because of the sound they make when he walks. I'll hear him at all hours of the night, just stomping away...
Personality in Adjectives; Bratty, greedy, curious, enthusiastic, ham, persistant, trickster
Personality in Full; Those adjectives above really just about say it all: Ellery is a greedy, spoiled brat at the core. He can't really help it; living with Joseph means that he doesn't get a lot of things, and he wants the same things other children has. He doesn't understand why Joseph can't get these things, either; from Ellery's viewpoint, he's just being mean. That almost always leads to Ellery throwing a tantrum which, given his power, are usually very effective in getting Joseph to steal him what he wants.
He is a very proud and confident child, completely oblivious to the idea that he may not know everything. In his mind, he is always absolutely right. There are many things he doesn't understand, and many that he wants to find out about. He enjoys helping Joseph play music (by use of a few pots and a lead pipe) and generally being the center of attention. That would explain why he hates Quentin so much, as Joseph tends to dote over his boyfriend whenever he's around. Ellery will normally act out to bring attention back to him, as Joseph rarely scolds him. In fact, the faun has found his foster father very easy to manipulate. Oh dear...

Guitar: Joseph's beloved guitar Tanner has been with him since he was fourteen, and he wouldn't trade it for the world. It is his baby, and he takes excellent care of it. Considering that it is also his primary weapon in a fight, it takes up a lot of his time, but he does it happily. It's usually found either on his back or in his hands; he even used to sleep with it before Ellery came along. Now it's propped on the wall right next to his little bed-nest.
Scruffy Facial Hair: Nothing gives Joseph away as a hobo more than his facial scruff. Although he manages to pull it off in an attractive way, his beard is short and quite unkempt. He probably wouldn't even bother to manage it if he had the required items. He refuses to shave it off, seeing as that would require him stealing a razor and using a fast food bathroom and that always leads to awkward questions and there's really no point since it'll all grow back anyway... Yeah, he'd much rather just hack bits off with his scissors whenever it gets too long.
Personality in Adjectives; Easy-going, sarcastic, non-committal, simplistic, peace-keeper, crafty, protective, brave
Personality in Full; Joseph's entire personality could be summed up in the sentence 'All Joesph wants to do is paint pictures and play the guitar.' And it's absolutely true; that is pretty much the extent of his ambition. A natural talent, he never even bothered to take lessons. He is a very content and placid individual, perfectly happy to be living on the street as long as he can practice his twin crafts. He is very good at taking life as it comes, and will adapt to situations readily.
He does have a fierce streak of pride in him, however. Under no circumstance will he accept money simply because he's poor; if you're going to pay him, pay him because he's a whiz at guitar. He has repeatedly asserted that he is not a charity case, because he's not; he's a perfectly happy musician who just so happens to not have a house. Part of him doesn't even really want a house.
Joseph is odd and can seem rather impulsive if you don't know him well. He enjoys twisting people's words around for his amusement and embarrassing others, but really only so he can delight in how they react. He's wise, but at the same time adorably naive on how his actions affect others. He is good at dealing with the direct problem (ex. Ellery wants a toy. Solution: steal the toy.) but lacks much foresight (ex. getting caught and arrested). You can very easily say he lives in the moment.
