I'm old and I'm cranky and I don't get online all that often.
Maybe you don't either.
Just like in a real retirement community, I plan to have conversations here that have ENORMOUS pauses in them.
With myself, if neccessary.
You can join in, too, if you absolutely HAVE to.
Ill be back with something completely unimportant to say once I've found my talkin' dentures.
(Strangely, there are other, BETTER, talking threads in this guild... but this one is DESIGNED to be really slow. And inane. But in an educated sort of way.)

(The math one is okay, but I was hoping for something literary. You want to throw down with quadratic equations and maybe factor out the declension from a to b of x to the power of the natural number e by dx, that's fine with me. It's 1 plus or minus c, ain't it? I can barely perform using the basic operands any more.)
*I don't like posting my age because I'm unreasonably superstitious, but it's in the age sticky, too. Incidentally, all witches wishing to cast spells on me should know that I'm protected by GOD. Well, not really. He and I don't get along so well and I think his attitude is kinda summed up in the old Elvis Costello song "Let 'em Dangle."
Is that from SPIKE? I guess it isn't THAT old.
